From 50 degrees yesterday to snow this morning. I think we have that storm now. We're expecting 6 to 8 inches. Kiddo's school has been cancelled. Enjoy the break before the storm. Happy Hump Day!

That's a big change in the weather. I never think it's good for the poor body.

Hello to all the lovely littles and the Daddies that adore them. Hopefully everyone's hump day went well. It's raining here and I'm not looking forward to what may be coming. Oh well, not much I can do about it, so I'll hope that it's the last snow storm of the season.

I went furniture shopping today. I've lived here for a year almost and FINALLY bought table and chairs lol.

I also bought my very first BRAND NEW lounge suite, thought I was going to get a set with a chase, instead got a SUPER comfortable 3 seater (that reclines on both ends) and two single seaters that recline AND rock lol.

I also got a lovely step down (goes from four to three to two squares) mahogany for half price.

Got the lounge suite and table and chairs a bit cheaper.

All in all a good day. More fun then I thought it would be

My back has never been the same since being thrown off several years ago. . ( horse behind mine was nipping... And the one I was riding got irked.. reared back, threw me,and bit the one behind her. All in all, in hindsight, it's funny as hell..If You omit the whole me hanging there with one leg up in the stirrups. .)

Take it easy and don't forget to follow up with your doctor!!!

Not to minimise this but is the horse OK? Having seen three loose their lives during the Cheltenham festival this week makes one realise how they are at risk, as well as their riders.

What yukky weather!!
Staying indoors is hard, but I am following orders to let my little brain heal. Just noticed that not only did I shatter the exterior of my helmet, but the cushioning lining!! Sorta makes you feel humble ... and mortal ... and oh so very thankful.
Today, I'll clean my room to Baron Munchausen and Amadeus with rotating dogs. Then move onto the kitchen. I have AMAZING steaks for supper - did not manage to get them cooked last week and they are still a 'wow' in the fridge. Cannot wait!

HS - Klyde is just fine. He let himself be easily caught in the round pen where I fell and stood like a rock when I got back on - not that I remember a bit of it. The questions I asked over and over were "HOW is my horse?!?!?!?! and "Was it at *least* spectacular??" I do have pics to prove I was up, though!! LOL

The steaks sound good, thank goodness Klyde is OK (And was there at the critical time for you.)
I don't now about spectacular, but perhaps at least funny, in retrospect? Akin to putting a two-wheeler through a hawthorn hedge lol

It's been a little TOO warm the last couple days. I wish I could too, you guys have had a rough winter.

Now that I've come back here and read a few posts since the one I posted, it makes me wonder if when my friend called me daddy, she might have meant something different than what daddies and littles are.
