She announced before leaving for the restaurant that she'd like pork with crackling. It was top of the menu. I couldn't have arranged it better!

thanks I had a great day.

Great weekend actually.

My h was able to come home Wed bc he was in Raleigh and the snow was coming, etc. They had finished up what they could do, so they were able to come home. He had Thursday off and we had time together.

Friday he surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of lilies, roses, carnations, etc., Godiva dark chocolate, a bracelet, a love letter and a card. He also prepared an awesome steak dinner.

Today he and I went to a little Italian bistro and then for cheesecake and coffee. We went and watched "A Winter's Tale" and it was a great movie. We both liked it lots.

So a very good weekend.

My mother goes in this Tuesday. I won't be there. I have to get a mammogram and my little girl has to get her MRI. Her surgery is not scheduled yet.

I'm sure that it can't apply to all who behave in this way (And it is by no means behavior exclusive to men), but they find it easy to create things or events in their own minds that pin the blame and culpability squarely on you, for any and all wrongs. It was really nice of my husband. The last wonderful Valentine's I remember having with him we were dating! (We will have been married 18 years this May).

Just makes it even harder with the extensive traveling he does for his work. However he is suppose to be getting a promotion in June and not travel as much.
