Hi all, need a little help here I`m looking for some advice for a good camcorder for home porn and more. any help would be great.

If your home movies involve outdoor scenes with action, the GoPro Hero is without competition. It's not even expensive.

If you're shooting "normal" movies, forget the camcorder and use a normal DSLR or mirrorless camera. Most of them can record 1080/30 in great quality, and you may already have one laying around.

Unless you own a Lumia 1020 don't use a cellphone. The result is bound to be less than satisfying.

Just a guess, but I reckon that 9.9/10 people do not have an SLR just 'lying around'.

I'm not up to date with camcorders to be honest. I've received a few as gifts over the last few years, and have probably used them once since I opened them. One's JVC, the other's SONY I think.

I own a Samsung Galaxy. Takes great video, so I don't really need a camcorder.

No but if they're gonna buy a camcorder, they might as well buy an SLR camera instead and get a two-fer.

I'm using a $500 Nikon V1 for great quality promotional filming. Haven't tried it for porn, but I'm willing to gave it a shot.

GoPro would not be all that great for indoor porn movies, no flash. The DSLR cameras are expensive.

Go to the local Best Buy or whatever Big box house you have. Look at Sony anything that also has a flash. Will not be cheap but best bet. If you are going to leave the light on, any Sony in general is good even in lower light. Also get one that uses a memory card. This will make the download faster and you can get a LARGE card for more film record time

I agree. I like Nikon. I have a couple of them including a D3. They aren't cheap, though, you know? That's why I mentioned my phone. If you're going to go pro, SONY have a great range.

A high-end smart phone is not bad as long as the conditions aren't too challenging. But the laws of physics apply and the difference in size - both the image sensor and the lens - has a big impact. Size matters - especially indoor.

That being said, you can achieve a fairly good results with the Galaxy, if you control the lighting carefully. However even a relatively cheap APS-C camera like the Sony NEX-3 blows it out of the water.

So if you do happen to have a camera in a drawer somewhere, use it... :)

I loathe the auto-correct feature on my phone...

Get yourself a wireless webcam and a bean-bag. No need to worry about wires, recording space or transferring over to a computer afterwards.

Easy-peasy.

Well, it's still cheaper than my phone. Which is a Sony actually.

Agree - the RX-100 is a great choice.

Probably the best pocketable camera you can get.

$180

I know that we have a sony tho I'm not sure which one. Never have had an issue with it even with lower light. I figure the OP is looking to film either them together or his girl getting it on. Just about any Cam will probably work as long as your not shopping at the value store.

The main thing to look for in a good camcorder is one that will play the video back to you. Mine does and I love it.

Hope this helps!
