Another conservative narrative flushed down the toilet of wrongness

That shit could have been ugly.

2014 I haven't heard a whole lot of crowing either but we'll see, it's early yet and none of the races have started .

Can you prove any of those contentions you made in the first paragraph?

What in there is at all debatable?

Specifically the parts I bolded.

Wait you don't think that people saying shit that stupid was a major reason for losing in in the 2010 elections?

Well, duh, they're denying any wrong-doing. What else would you expect - a gov. agency to own up to being dishonest?

Even at that, they do admit that sometimes the "information" they distribute is fabricated.

They denied that the numbers were cooked using facts and you think that means they're guilty. That's pretty fucked up of you, don't you think?

Where do you think these "facts" come from? They are generated by the Census Bureau, in a self-serving actions. They admit their sources include multiple errors, so why should the results be believable.

Just quote what was said and I will give my opinion.

I would but braintrust that you are you mangled your quote as usual. If you aren't smart enough to use a function don't try.

That said there is nothing that needs qualifying in there and nothing that even at the time was confusing. Americans reacted poorly to the Tea Party and it cost Republicans seats. You'd have to be a special kind of stupid not to have noticed.

Why is this thread still going on? It ended when I demonstrated that there is no such thing as a "conservative narrative." By definition it can't exist, as a "narrative" is deliberately made up to create a lie.

It was kind of like some of the liberal circle jerk on here who used to blabber about a "conservative echo chamber." The whole thing didn't make any sense, since there never was such a thing. Not even close to it.

End of thread.

All I'm saying is that you derived your "information" from the Huffington Post, although you may have felt too embarrassed to admit it. If not from them, then from whence?

Fuck off and die, I did nothing of the sort. You're desperate to try and make me "Play defense".

Your editorial writer used a single uncorroborated "source" and you're squealing since you got caught and have no corroboration/proof of the allegation.

I own you, bitch.

I was sure you wouldn't be able to do it. We went over this a year or so ago, and you were wrong then, although you wouldn't admit it.

Unfucking your quote would be difficult for anybody.

That aside I don't understand what your question is. What is difficult,at all about understanding that the Tea Party damaged the REpublican Run in 2010 and those are two extremely easy to point out cases?

In 2010, the GOP took control of the House of Representatives and gained seats in the Senate. And many of those elected were endorsed by the TEA Party, to the degree they are organized enough to actually support any specific candidates.

Hopefully, they will do even better next November and control both houses of Congress and prevent Obama from doing any more damage and keep him from appointing any radical judges or justices. It's unlikely they will be able to repeal any of what he already did, because he will veto anything that comes his way. Possibly, some Dems will realize the harm they helped do and vote to override, but we can't count on that.

If he is wrong why are there 15 threads a day popping up about how Obama and the DNC are just butt fucking the republicans dry so hard they can't even agree on any actual ideology beyond "fling poo until something sticks, and it's totally ok because no matter how absurd or how much of a betrayal to everything we blow air about, our shit never stinks!!!"???

It's like the entire GOP got dimentia and then were turned loose at Fun Time Pizza ....they aren't even sure if they support states rights or the freedom to vote anymore. They cry for freedom of choice but want to put terminally ill patients in prison for stepping out from under big pharma's thumb by POPULAR VOTE. They say they hate welfare but cheer Wal Mart subsidizing their labor on the tax payers back instead of the Wal Mart consumers. Then turn around and call conservatives liberal fucks for not wanting to legislate Leviticus at the federal level.......FREEDUMB!!

That's not what "narrative" means.

There is no conservative narrative as that would require more coordination than the current conservative movement posses.

And you would easily have gained at least two more seats if not more if you weren't hopped up on a metric fuck ton of stupid. You really think Harry Reid won his election because he was a superior politician and not because Sharon Angle kinda said we should turn to violence if the ballot box doesn't work? I know people like you would just as soon replace the elections with a mass gang fight and the winner would get set up their leader until the next duly scheduled blood bath but a lot of the rest of us get disgusted about even joking about that sort of thing. Christine "I am not a witch" O'Donnel. Is another cut from that idiotic cloth. That was literally money left on the table and those are just the two pest known cases I'm sure if we dug through every single 2010 election in both houses and probably a good deal of 2012 ones as well we'd find a lot of places where you could have won by sending out a Russian who only knew the following phrase and how to point to a picture. "I am not democrat!"

After two years of less than perfect economic improvement coupled with American Instant Gratification and that could easily have been a much worse run for the Dems than it was. Libs wpent 2010 around here pretty much bracing for impact. Can you imagine if Republicans had shown up with a plan and 50% less crazy bullshit?

I told my old man they could have had the whole oyster had they just toned down the "No drugs, sex and rock n' roll because GAWD!!!" bullshit.

Perhaps you haven't been paying attention to what the GOP/tea party have done since taking over the house... If you think that their actions will earn them more seats, you haven't really been keeping up.

I know they held onto the House in 2012 and that Obamacare and almost everything else about the current administration and its highly partisan support have been disasters. All the GOP needs to do is point at Dem. incumbents and say "They voted for this disaster." That should enable them to hold the house and take over the Senate.

I'm not sure what a "petard" is but I do know what it means to say somebody was hoisted by his/their own petard. That's what will happen in the Senate when the GOP uses the nuclear option recently passed by Harry Reid and puts through masses of bills to dismantle all the harm Obama has done. They will almost certainly all be vetoed by the lamest of lame duck presidents who will finally have to start accepting some blame. You can probably also count on ALL of that lame duck's nominations being shot down.

Politics is a dirty business, and the GOP can, if they choose, play just as dirty as the Dems.

What you mean is when they get desperate the Democrats can almost stomach playing half as dirty as Republicans do. Dont' take that as an insult, I wish Democrats had even a quarter of the spine of Republicans. Shut down the government, threaten default, drive us to the brink every year because you lost an election? Democrats won't even stand up for what they believe in!

Still it could and should have gone vastly differently for you. While we're at it please base your 2016 plan around pointing out the Dems as disasters. The public simply isn't buying it.

I told my old man they could have had the whole oyster had they just toned down the "No drugs, sex and rock n' roll because GAWD!!!" bullshit.

They could have kept that and just not elected anybody who would actually say outloud that the 2nd Amendment was meant to be a cure for Democracy. I mean seriously how do you not see that as a huge red light. Like the kind of thing that even if you're thinking it you don't say it.

True....but they would roll the DNC up if they just dropped the "Leviticus or bust!!" bullshit.

Fuck if they just stuck with some shit beyond "Anything anti DNC, no cost is too high!" and started behaving like adults they could turn the tide in their favor.

Sharon Angle was misquoted by you (probably) and others. She said something to the effect that if she doesn't win, some of her supporters may adopt a Second Amendment solution. She was not making any threat, just voicing a possibility.

Christine O'Donnell probably wouldn't have won anyhow, but she spent a lot of her time defending herself against mud-slinging.

There is no possible way the GOP can win all the seats in the House, and they know it. In the central cities, the Dems will win because they ladle out more welfare and cheat more expertly. This is so well accepted the GOP doesn't even bother running serious candidates in those places.

Yep. Hell they could probably do pretty damn well just by focusing on being very quiet.

What she said was more than close enough to be a turn off. If you want to argue that she didn't exactly say that, fine, whatever. Perception>Reality and she sure as fuck didn' ttry to walk that back.

O'Donnell may or may not have won but those are just the two most famous cases. A bad case of the crazy infected the entire party and cost you a lot of extremely easy seats.

It's not cheating by the way, welfare is a perfectly legit way to get votes. People do and should vote to improve their lives. There is a reason income is better in the Big City by the way which is one of those reasons why as much as it pains us to admit this we just have to wait until you lot finish being assimilated. Or dying. Whichever you're willing to do faster.

Welfare is not cheating. Everybody votes in the way they believe they benefit the most, and getting handouts from the gov. is the sole ambition of some people.

Maybe what I should have said was that the Dems cheat more expertly, which I believe nobody would doubt, and because they ladle out more welfare benefits. That is what I said, but I am changing the order of the words slightly.

Cheating on elections in big cities is so common people don't even bother to deny it and actually make jokes about it. I well remember somebody saying after the 1960 election: "When an election gets stolen in Chicago, it STAYS stolen.

I'm don't know what you mean by "being assimilated." I have lived in the Metropolitan SF Bay Area for over fifty years.

Wow....you must really hate life. That's like me living in Jackson Mississippi....*shudders*

It's not cheating, it's delivering. I'm not sure wht you mean by sole ambition but okay find. Maybe there are some people out there like that.

I have to join Bot in saying I'm really sorry you live in SF Bay. It must be hell to be a hater like you in a city filled to the brim with super liberals.
