Thanks for the tip, anna. I should see if something like that is covered under my new health plan. I know that chiropractor is, and they did a massage on me one time.
You may be able to do it yourself, but again, you have to force yourself to really work on the knots. The chiro would probably be able to help you figure out how it happened, though. Good luck! :)

No cornbread in the cave. HM is allergic to corn. However, I am able to make up a reasonable facsimile using Cream o'Wheat in place of the corn meal. It's really good with honey or agave syrup and butter.
Ooh, the fella doesn't eat corn, although he's not allergic to it. That sounds like a great option.

That sounds good
I know, doesn't it?

Good morning, cc. I hope you're well.

Morning all

Good old cowboy coffee this morning.

Help yourself.
Good morning, Tx. *hug*

Cowboy coffee is too strong for my blood, so I might make a separate pot. However, I do have fresh scones. :)

Good morning, anna *hug*

*shuffles in with messy bed hair and squinting eyes* What the hell? I fell asleep at 9:30, woke up briefly at 3am, then finally woke up now. *grumbles* Stupid body. Strange thing is that I'm not facing any lack of sleep this week.

Ok, mochas for everyone. Just tell me how many shots you want.

Good Afternoon, scholars of the Written Word.

There's some decent Dutch (Dowe Eghberts) coffee in the jug, for those who feel the need.

This place will never suffer for want of coffee.

Sounds like you're finally getting some sleep, john. :)

Hello, HP. I trust all is well in your world?

The problem is too much sleep and not getting anything done. How are you doing? Snowing over there?

Mornin' HP, any fishing today?

Cowboy coffee? With an scrambled egg stirred in to settle the grounds? In a blue enamel pot? Elixir! Man, I'm ready to go elk hunting again already.

Mention that word again, and there will be no fresh cookies for you! *raising an eyebrow in your direction*

Too much sleep? No such thing.

Good hunting to you, Bear!

*huddles in corner* Yes m'am, never again. I do not want to miss out on your fresh cookies.

Aww, poor john. Look at it this way - we both know better than to mention "the 'r' word" back in your neck of the woods. ;)

Actually, the "s" word is probably more dirty here and runs our blood cold with fear. Can we say Queen Anne Counterbalance? ;)

Yes am fine Thanks, you are you

I just got some new Keen "s" boots in the mail. (that's for John and anna), my freelance project is going well, I've got a new idea for a Master and Maeve story that I might be able to finish for the Holiday contest, and though my FAWC entry did not do very well, I still thought it was a pretty cool story (it would have been a lot better if I had not had to rush it.)

I'm not going to worry about continuing doctor's appts, I'm just rolling with it!

So ... things aren't too bad! Oh, and Kidlets have off all next week for Thanksgiving, so we can plan some fun things and I don't have to worry about making lunches or doing homework. Yay!

I know Queen Anne well. Either way, it's best not to tempt the Weather Gods.

Well, I've officially started the seasonal baking. :) Pumpkin bars will go in the oven once dinner is done.

I liked your FAWC entry! It was a bit tricky getting started, but I thought it flowed well once I was there. It was certainly a twist on the picture's challenge. :)

I definitely have something to help you with "rolling with it" when it comes to the doctor's appts. ;)

Just heard that Odysseo is coming here in February and am super excited. I got to see Cavalia a couple years ago and it was just amazing....even magical. :D

Mmm, pumpkin bars sound really good, anna. May I have one too? Pleeeeeaaassssee? I promise I'll be good.

Shea, glad to see you well and still sending good thoughts your way.

Pumpkin is just a big (usually) round member of the winter squash family. If you've ever had banana, butternut, kabocha or one of the others with cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar, it's much like it.

Pumpkin bars? Sounds Yummy, I had pumpkin pie

Mmmm sounds delicious. One of the big reasons I like Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie... it's to DIE for! :)

So how's everyone's evening going? Tonight is the kind of night to layer up outside.

.....or remove layers here.

I think hot cider is in order to pair with anna's pumpkin bars.

Can I freeze the pie until tea time please? I'm not sure it's the thing for breakfast.
Another damned cold day here, but at least it's not blowing a gale (and we've all been alerted for snow very soon).
But for now - Coffee!

Coffee sounds good.

80 yesterday and a high of 54 today with rain. WTF? Make up your mind.

Well, blow me down. The outside temp has doubled to a roasting +7C.
There's very little wind, but what there is, is damned penetrating.
