Thread kinda works like this. I play games, I post random stuff here, if it starts a conversation, cool. It might be pages of me doing random game references.

I honestly stopped playing Dance Dance after watching some Asian kid playing hard mode. On 2 player. By himself. It was like watching something out of ah anime where he'd just be some place else suddenly and it made me very sad that I couldn't always beat things on normal and here he was raping the machine so bad you wanted him to shout "Bite the pillow bitch!" or "Squeal like a piggy!" either way it ranked up there with when I used to play Star Craft and then BAM some asshole brought his cruiser fleet to my hydralisk party and then got pissed at me when I asked him to finish things up before I rage quit.

My sister is like that she'll spend five minutes on a game and is already past the hardest levels. Me it takes 5 minutes just to figure out what buttons do what.

See, I just wind up wanting to fuck them. Which is the wrong reaction 99% of the time. The day I decided I was gonna fuck my ex bf, we were playing Smash Bros. And I am fucking amazing at Smash Bros. We were at a party and nobody else wanted to play against me because I was having a really good win streak, and he sat down. I didn't even know he played. And he picks Jigglypuff. So I know he doesn't play. So I decide to go easy on him. I stand there to let him get used to the controls. He promptly puffs over. And falls asleep.

GO FLYING OFF THE FUCKING BOARD!

He managed to hit me in that 1 pixil state where that move would send me flying. So I was like, "Well, that'll never happen again."

It did.

Again. And Again.

So when the end screen comes up and Jigglypuff is FUCKING ASLEEP on the winner screen and Link's just back there clapping, I look at him in awe. And he's like, "Don't fuck with the puff."

And I'm just like, "...I'm gonna suck that dick."

I suck at fast games. I can do them if they involve setting up complicated strategies to take place automatically, but in general I'm just going to die.

Same, sometimes I wonder why I bother. For instance Sims I'm pretty good at, something like Final Fantasy, I don't know why I bother.

My favorites are things like Civilization, where I can make measured and deliberate choices.

Second favorite are roleplay games that give me a decent choice of strategy and have a good story, I can usually kick ass by choosing the right skills.

I tend to solo in games like Warcraft (currently playing Everquest 2 and the new Final Fantasy game...just canceled my Warcraft because I don't have enough time, but I'll re-up when the next expansion comes out) because I have very little tolerance for frustrating group dynamics and goals.
