[blurt] I am at a loss as to what to do or say when you dismiss my pain like that. It makes me angry and then it just hurts and makes me sad. In our years together, it's the one thing that has really bothered me, whether my pain was physical or mental. Every day I ask how you are and show concern, but when I am hurt you turn it into a one-upmanship. I refuse to engage in that. [/blurt]

I mean like I pulled it level with this sexy Land Rover (I mean a proper one, not a sissy thing with all the comforts of home) and I eased it back - there was an oncoming car which I hate cuz I think I will get the parking wrong and they will think I am a ditz. I thought I had pulled the wheel down too hard and the cat was complaining. Then I realised I had got it spot on. Six inches from the curb, dahlinks. Well ... I think that is six inches - a gurrlll like me gets a funny idea about what is six inches sometimes . 
I managed to park the car perfectly this morning at the vet's!
Oh, and the cat is very well. She had her immunisation booster and the kitten goes for its booster in ten days - then I might not have to pay out any more money to the vet till the kitten has to be spayed!

He's a good guy, my husband, just sometimes he needs a reality check ( just as I do sometimes.) I also have a policy of taking a wee bit of time to check myself before I blurt something like that out but I still need to vent somewhere.
