well thanks for the vote of confidence.8 years? As lovely as you are I would think that was a decision you made. What's up with you? I don't mean that as harsh as it sounds.
What made you take yourself off the market? I am sure you could have what ever you wanted.
2 relationships into marriages covered everything from 16-48; the second, mentally/physically all kinds of wrong for 18 years left me in no hurry to get back 'on the market' but it took time to train and re-enter the job market (having been a housewife all those years), clear debts run up by the ex in my name, and refurbish a household/bring up the two sons still at home. i'm earning, free of those debts, and now the youngest's 16 it's time i enjoyed life a bit more and stopped seeing myself as a dumpy old granny who can write poems sometimes.
