I like how much space you'd need. You might be able to ride that far, but it wouldn't be on your property. And you'd need it near the sea so you could go deep sea diving for gold.

I saw that, 1st episode was cool, after that it was just boring as fuck.

Oh I'm not looking to make it rich....would be cool if I did...but more just to keep myself busy with some goal in mind/hobby. If I found just a flake every now and then I would be a happy camper. =D

Oh I do love some space...might have to keep it more economical in the lower 48 though so I could afford to keep a couple horses around.

Wouldn't that get lonely, unless you talked Botany Girl into giddy upping too? And how would you compare/trade strains with the local peeps? :D

Botany girl is always welcome to join my antics...I also never hold it against her if she chooses to laugh from the sidelines either lol. Maybe I should look to doing something she might rather be doing for recreation. I do love being a digger though....=\ get to go out into nature, good physical work out, it's like hiking without all the travel :D....feels good and nothing's quite like it, for me anyhow.

There are always stoners somewhere....I'll find my peeps, I always do :D Speaking of MAN am I feeling good, I have to go cook something...preferably in the microwave, later ya'll :)

I was asleep by 10:15p, so don't know about the thunder. Did see that there were a lot of lightening strikes up by the cabin yesterday evening, though.

Yes, I did see your post. This woke me out of a dead sleep at about midnight, Closest I counted was 3 miles away. SHOOK the house! What an awesome show it was, I'm going to need a nap today.

I suppose your cabin has lightening protection. Unfortunately, I also suppose there's not a lot one can do to protect same from fires ignited by nearby lightening strikes.


That is a flat-out gnarly image. Is there a place one goes on the Interwebz to obtain its analogue for other locations?

No one has "lightening protection" up here. I'll just have to see if there's a hole burned in the metal roof. But, there are some very high trees in close proximity.

I got that from Brett Shepard, the weather-guy.

I've never been to Talkeetna. Isn't there a music festival there, my pothead friends always go to it and camp.
