It started raining on Sat night and hasn't stopped. Steady, heavy rain.
I have been trapped at home since lunchtime Sunday as my driveway is flooded.

Luckily I had a lot of training as a child and teen on how to be with myself, alone.
Growing up on a yacht sailing the world meant many days and weeks without outside contact!
And I have to ask trisk as well.... what's in Canberra, apart from crazy roads?

I had a GREAT childhood (and if geronimo comes into this thread, my reputation is completely blown!).
My family built a yacht in our backyard in South Hedland, I went to school in Hedland and Karratha, and I sailed most of the world with my family for 12 years.
I was a bit of a wild-child

My family built a yacht in our backyard in South Hedland, I went to school in Hedland and Karratha, and I sailed most of the world with my family for 12 years.

I might have had a hand in dyeing the olympic-size town pool red. And blue. And green. And yellow.
I may also have been the cause of having a whole section of the school evacuate due to letting off an orange smoke flare in drama.
And quite possibly, I was involved in a chlorine-bomb explosion that caused some upset.....
Not to mention having the most outrageous beach party for my 13th birthday.
