Justice for Trayvon??

I can't wait to hear Obama whine about this....

He won't just whine. He'll order a federal charge of violating TM's civil rights, so the federal government can waste some money trying to shaft somebody. TM did not have a "civil right" to be in that gated community, nor did he have the right to assault the Neighborhood Watch captain who was watching him. He wasn't trespassing, but he also was not established as a resident, which made him a suspicious person, and somebody to check up on. Z would have been derelict in his duty if he hadn't.

I guess the lesson we can take away from this is, when you tell somebody, "You're going to die tonight," you should have the means to carry it out.

That's the defendant's testimony with no witness corroboration. He was a 17 year old kid - don't try to justify or diminish his death with something he's alleged to have said to make your own speculative point. That's really disrespectful.

What don't you understand about ALL violence being potenitally deadly?

If you're going to bring it to someone, even in complete silence, you best be prepared for the fight of your LIFE.

Anyone who doesn't understand that is, well, stupid.

the kid was a pile of shit. maybe he could have turned his life around...I doubt it.

Towards the end I honestly thought they might be swayed more by the testimony of Marten's parents and feel compelled to come up with some kind of punitive result. When I heard they wanted an explanation of manslaughter, I was even more swayed. As I said, I was wrong.

Emotion was guilty. The law was absolutely not guilty. The law won, but it doesn't mean GZ was without guilt.

Hi, can you please point me to any piece of evidence that shows that Trayvon instigated the violence? Aside from the testimony of a man who had just killed a teenager and was trying to avoid a murder charge, of course. If you can't, can you please stop posting stupid things in all of the related threads? Thanks.

This is the guy who spent several months telling us the Romney presidency was a sure thing, so I'm guessing no, he can't.

Based on all of the evidence presented at trial, the jury thought the totality of of the defendant's testimony and statements were true. Why should I doubt him? We shouldn't be naive either Phelia, we've all seen the text messages from Trayvon, that weren't allowed at trial. They tell a different story about the likely demeanor and character of Trayvon Marten in real life, it's hard to be respectful. Trayvon Marten disrespected his own life and threatened the life of another. Let us remain in this world.

She's an idiot as is Old Bronze Fuck.

A 17 year old "kid"? But if he wanted free birth control without his parents' knowledge he would have been considered an adult.

No. The jury thought there wasn't enough evidence to prove without a reasonable doubt he was guilty.

You don't know what the jury thought. No one will until someone on it speaks.

They might have thought Zimmerman was totally justified.
