Hiya Kisses (((((hugssssssss)))) and 's

How is your weekend going so far?

Recovered yet from your...err....exertions? ;) he he he

Hey Dom! Not too bad at all. Recovery is slow... maybe I'm old... or maybe if I stopped completely or rationed myself, I'd recover quicker??? Just need a nanna nap to recharge.

Awwwwww well I think your tiredness is a sure sign of a great time ;)

Nanna nap??? Wow you must be the youngest Nanna in the world!!!

Good to hear you're not flooding.
We're at the top of a hill, so we don't either. Unfortunately, sometimes our driveway floods and we get cut off though!

No rain here yet.... I'm not sure we'll get much this winter.

You're a barista? Why does the coffee from my Cafitaly pod machine sometimes taste great, and sometimes taste like mud? I googled, but am still having this problem :(

Mega dumps of rain in last week. Good for farmers.

Machine I use is very different to pod. But quality of product and water, clean lines and heads, curing the heads, water pressure, heat, (tamping, but you wont do that), milk temp before it's stretched, the stretching technique itself and just plain attitude of the barista all make a difference. Never used a pod machine. They look straight forward. So your variants are the pods, water, heat, milk. I can't imagine anything of yours daring to have an unclean anything!!! :D

Don't get me wrong I like the city just not when everyone is in places I want to be. The weekends are a good time to explore without the crowds. Most suburbs in Melbourne now have possums. You can see them walking or running across the power lines in the early hours of the morning especially at this time of year. They must get confused why humans are up and about in the dark. I occasionally hear them on the roof. As for birds, well I have lots of them in the area. Its a rather quiet neighbourhood so sound travels a long way.

I actually found two new chocolate shops in the city these past few weeks whilst doing other things. They seem to be popping up everywhere.

Yes things do close early in country towns, especially if you want a meal. The only place open is Macca's and if you're starving then its the only choice. Those little snacks you buy on road trips aren't enough.

We do NOT want Maccas here.

live in the middle of a suburbia such as it is here miss the fog thinking you are a alone in the bush having a camp fire
missing everything at the moment
life sucks at the minute

When I first went to work in the big smoke My favourite song was 'Up on the Roof' from James Taylor's Flag album. I swear it saved my sanity!!!

Hang in there, Hon. If it's worth doin, do it well and plan your escape. :rose::kiss:

Hey Trisk,

Yes rats like chocolate...who knew right? I got a tip from a pest controller once. He said that if you don't know what you've got running around the place here is a test you can do.
Put out a piece of chocolate, cheese and apple...

.if the chocolate is eaten then you've got a rat

if the cheese is eaten then you've got a mouse

if the apple is eaten then you've got a possum

I've done my share of catching/killing rodents but never heard that one before and he was right. Turned out I had a possum tapping on the walls. Got rid of it but I learnt something new.

Never heard of that before, but it makes sense.

I kinda felt sorry for the little guy. He's mindin his own business in a shed when an old guy decides to donate the stuff he's in. He gets chucked in a van, driven 30k to be tossed in a storeroom, in a strange place. Thank God he wandered off before we sorted it!!!!!! I suspect there may have been 2. There's an elusive smell...........

It's all good, til someone burns off their eyebrows... then it's too much fuel. :D

I was gonna say that!!!! :D Having done just that, once.

Hi Kisses! How y'doin, Hon? :rose::kiss:

Good morning

I still have my eyebrows - I have perfected the art of remote ignition!
(Wrap a few sheets of newspaper around a cowpat, light it, then hurl it into the pile!)
:D

Plans for the weekend?

I had a vision of you as a modern day Wilhelmena Tell. :D Complete with newspaper, cowpat and bow and arrow. They don't burn cowpats here. Never heard of it. The mighty Mo's mob used to burn them at night to give the cows some relief from insects, up in NQ.

Hey Triskele! Pretty damn fine here, had a wonderful weekend. You put in a bit of a posting effort there checking in with everyone... are your fingers tired?

Usually works that way... though the smile on my face is the best way to judge how much fun I've had... just ignore the bags under my eyes and the slight limp. :D

Damn do I have to be a nanna to have a nanna nap? I've been doing it wrong for years then!

All better now, just one of those pulled a muscle from overuse type things, I really should warm up first. :D

Well half the year is officially done and dusted, hope the next half is just as great...

I know, some days this place just sits empty, other days it's like a main street. :)

I was wondering how you were going to answer that one! ;)

Yeah. It's flood or famine, but it won't be the same until our Gil is back. :(

What did you expect Trisky??? It's me! You get sweetness and light and just a brief smattering of adult content around the edges, it would be crass to reply I pulled a hamstring fucking in the shower wouldn't it? Luckily not a match ending injury at least. Though as long as I said I enjoyed every steamy, water soaked minute of it maybe it would be ok? Nah still too overtly sexual for me, don't need everyone reading the board to know I'm a nympho. :D

GIL IS BACK!

Been a long battle & still not over bowel cancer gone, fluid around the heart drained & gone, fluid on right lung gone but still working on all the lost muscle from being bed bound for so long & even lost my man boobs

BANDIT:heart: the love of my life has had a hard time dealing with me being so ill but now I've been home for 2 months she has me a lot better & this last week I've even been able to wear shoes again as we have got all the fluid build up in my lower legs back to where they should be. Energy levels are still down & after having a picc line in my right arm with the tube ending up in my shoulder I'm have a hell of a time with my right arm aching & legs cramping when trying to sleep.

BANDIT:heart: has done more getting me back on track than the damn hospital.

Thanks mate it's been a tough year so far for me health wise but picking up although told not to expect to much till around christmas time.

We went out to lunch at a new spot & had chicken wraps which were so full the ends of the wraps only just touched each other, struggled to eat them all but we both managed walking out very full so light dinner planned tonight.

Had a sad day on Saturday farewelling a good friend killed in a truck crash where his truck rolled down a hill & burst into flames, on the up side caught up with a lot of friends who I haven't seen in years. should of got a group shot of us cancer survivers as there was several there.:(
