I originally wanted to go alone, then invited someone, and that was a no go. I've been to the same spot about 12 times, in a gated, guarded community which I've never felt threatened in any way.
Quite simply, she promised she wouldn't beg me to go shopping or clubbing.

However after reading through the entire thing, OP has made comments which some would most definitely recognize as "trigger" for me....so
