Can a woman of a certain age be hot?

One of the frequent requests I've had is for a contemporary photo using the same pose as seen in a photo taken in my 20's or 30's. Last month and this my photographer and I decided to give it a whirl. What we discovered is that replicating an earlier photo is much more difficult than we could have imagined. The room layout is different, constraining where my photographer can stand which affects his ability to compose the photo as does the use of different camera and lens. More important I'm very different, not the least of which is that I'm not as limber or flexible as I was 30 or more years ago. Below are three photos: the reference pose from 1983 when I was 37 and one from last December just before my 67th b'day and one from earlier this month just after.

You and your photographer have made an excellent job with reproducing the earlier pose. your present appearance compares very well with the earlier shot. It's hard to believe the years have elapsed The later shots seem a little sharper, is that down to having a superior camera now?
It's always a pleasure to see your most recent photos, thank you for those and your accompanying comments.

That's a great series of pics- and your sexual appeal remains just as strong in the new pics as it is in the '80's shot. I'd be equally happy to have either the 1983 or 2013 versions of you in my bed;)

As you say, it's surprising how difficult it can be to replicate an old photo in the present day- A few years ago I was involved in having some photos taken to show changes in a local landscape over a period of time, and we spent quite a while puzzling over why we couldn't get an exactly comparative view for one location despite most of the landmarks remaining the same, until we realised that the exact viewpoint of 50 years earlier no longer existed- we simply weren't able to stand in the same spot the original photographer must have been when he took his photo.

i think 2013 is just as good if not better.

Rose

While all three are sexy and erotica Rose. I prefer the later versions. There is a confidence that comes from your body that comes via life's experiences. I suspect you are more sexual confident and aware of your wants and needs now compared to then. That Rose is damn sexy!

When I was a little younger, I was fortunate enough to have dated a couple of very lovely women who were around 10 years older than me, so I've been lucky enough to have been able to act on that attraction.

As to the wicked thoughts your photos inspire in me, then yes, I act on those quite regularly- in fact, I've just been looking through your freshly-updated index, and am feeling an irresistable urge to do just that now:devil::kiss:

You should never delay giving in to an irresistible urge. That can be dangerous to your health. It's flattering to know that I can inspire you to such delinquency.

Given your attitude, etc, I have to assume that your older partners were more than satisfied with your attention. Do they know how lucky there were?

Rose

Thanks - I totally agree, it's their loss, and actually a bit sad for all concerned!

I love your new photos - you have the most sensual skin I think I have ever seen!

Incidentally, I never had a lump and had recently passed a routine screening, but was experiencing some weird stabbing pains. So everything should be followed up.

Thanks, Temptress. I've tried as best I can over the decades to take care of my skin. It's nice to have the result noticed by you.

Every woman needs to listen to her body more and act quickly upon what it's trying to tell us. I'm happy for you that you did the right thing.

Thanks, Len. I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to my photographer as well. I don't know that I fret about how I've changed, but I am aware of it and also how inevitable it is.

I know this is quite a tiny detail, but your toes are perfectly symmetric to the position they were in 30 years ago... It is obvious you have taken good care of yourself. Most people have their age told by their feet and hands (well, some of us make it is easy just by our snow white hair...). You compare like a great Pauillac or Margaux compares as it is allowed to grow if kept in the right condition... an over-used simile, perhaps, but, I believe an apt one.

I know you have chosen the route of minimal foliage, but your natural look was, in these eyes, a zenith of confident, lush, and warmly lascivious feminine erotic heat. Thanks ...

Very keen observation. I was aware of the similarity and wondered whether anyone would notice such a seemingly insignificant detail. To my mind, it proves conclusively that it really is me doing the posing in all these photos. Positioning my toes that way would be too hard to fake, I think.

I'd agree that your comparison is apt, but my preference has always been for the premier grand crus of Bourgogne, specially Clos de Beze, Bonnes Mares and Musigny.

As to my "foliage," I agree with you as to how it looked and never thought I'd like such a close trim. But the increased sensitivity of the labia more than compensates for any aesthetic deficiencies.

Thanks for all your wonderful comments.

This is so sexy, and I love that you recreated the pose. You look just as good now as you did then!

Alex.

Thanks, Alex. I'll defer to my photographer as to whether today's camera is all that much better than the one he used 30 years ago. The difference in quality you noted has a more prosaic explanation: it's a scan from a print, done on a low-priced, poor quality scanner. The original print compares quite nicely, but you'll just have to take my word on that.

Rose

Thanks. It's nice to learn that you like both versions of me, then and now. If anything I think I'm more comfortable now with my sexuality than I was 30 years ago and hope that that shows through in my photos from recent times.

It's nice to know that my photographer and I aren't the only ones who've had to struggle to recreate scenes from long ago. Thanks for sharing your experience.
