I've been having a dispute at FetLife with a semi-moron. And the problem is not that I disagree - at least not completely - with his position. It's that he opened the thread by claiming that his view was the only possibly correct view. I called him on his intolerance and he has since been trying to flame me in twelve different ways, none of which match up with anything I've ever said, there or anywhere. I don't get asshat PMs (no, this is not an invitation) so I don't get to toy with the morons as often as Satin does.

On another note, today my father is being moved out of his home to an assisted living facility because the delusions caused by Alzheimers have become so deep and constant. It's breaking my mother's heart and mine is bending pretty damned far, too.

The weird thing is that the guy is not a troll; he's a regular in a liberal political group. But he went off the deep end a couple days ago and I got a hair across my ass over something he said. Since then he's been putting up straw men like he was casting for a remake of Dorothy and the 99 Scarecrows Do Dallas. As you can guess, the topic is gun control and it's not pretty. But, I am Captain Truth and someone is wrong on the Internet!

Decided to break out the yoga DVD, since I haven't done anything else productive today.

And you can tell I haven't done it in forever because, holy Jesus, I feel about a thousand years old. I burned the candle at both ends for so many years that I don't know how long my poor, abused body is going to hold out for me.

But, regardless of how much my joints and muscles scream at me, there is a sort of quiet spirituality in it that I really need at the moment.
