Thanks, Laura, for all your kind words and I hope you'll subscribe to my thread. If you go back over my thread you'll see any number of photos taken within the past year or two. Then you can judge for yourself how my body compares to what I looked like in my 20's and 30's.

Thanks, kdb. It was a rather aggressive pose to take to the photofinisher in 1983. Fortunately we were still in NY where it didn't raise an eyebrow.

Whilst most of my early photos are indeed scans of slides the last two I've shared and those related to it are scans of prints. We seldom get out the carousel to watch the slides and I fear we'll have to spend hours scouring the net if the bulb ever burns out.

The idea of not wearing my knickers in a professional setting is not something I ever contemplated. In my experience it's more the staple of fiction and fevered imaginations, not for a woman serious about her career. Such considerations don't, of course, apply to our fantasy world here at Lit. I'll discuss it with my photographer as a topic for a future photo session.

Glad you appreciate my photos so much. Younger is, of course, relative. As I recall things I had reached the stage you describe by the time I was 40. Would that be younger or older in your estimation?

I also noticed the shoes in your 1983 photo. Unusual to see stilletto type heels back then. Block heels were much more the style back then. But then again, who's complaining?:)
