What I mean to say is that I've read you for years now, and when you start taking your own advice, we should talk.

He's the designated stand in for the Collective of Stupid today. I must say he it fits him well.![]()
I believe you know exactly what happened here and you are just picking at things because you are unwilling to, even for a split second, think that someone just might not feel very good about the re-annointing of the king and thereby be a bit more concerned about making a purchase at this time.
I honestly could not care less if you understand this or not. The fact is I still do have the house for sale and am looking into either an investment company buying it and using it as a rental or going with a property auction house to sell it that way. I just prefer to not own it any longer.
Errr, Islandman, "you gotta know when to fold them."
I think what happened, is that you have a propensity to make shit up.
Otherwise, you could answer a simple question.
Did you have a signed contract? If not, then you didn't have an offer.
You truly don't have to be angry at me because your re-elected king is not all that great any longer.
If President Obama — yeah, I'm calling him exactly what he IS from now on, so deal — is supposed to be a "re-elected king" in your mind, then what exactly was the moneybagged failure that you were hoping to elect to the same seat through your vote?
Funny how all those other would-be clever metaphors your ilk loved to meme in place of his station for the past four years just sorta dissolved in the wind after his win, like Alka-Seltzer tablets in a glass of water...

Nope, no contract. The offer was being accepted, but was withdrawn. Yes, they formally signed their offer (they did that through their agent), but withdrew it. I never signed anything.
The offer was made, then they changed their minds. Call it what you wish to, "offer", "contract", whatever. If they had no interest in the house, the number would had never been given to their realtor and then shared with me.
Like I said, you are choosing specific words when you know exactly what was meant. You just cannot fathom anyone not feeling more than confident in the current (or future) financial world.
I am not upset with them. I was asked if it had affected me, and I believe it had. You do not have to agree, but you cannot justify your position when this had absolutely NOTHING to do with you!!
Perhaps there has not been anything that has changed in your world, that is fine. But in trying to sell a home, it definitely changed.
You truly don't have to be angry at me because your re-elected king is not all that great any longer. We all will have to find a way to make it work in our own lives the best we can.
Well, here's how I know you're lying.
If you accepted 3 signed offers (along with 3 escrow checks, which would be standard for any offer), then you and your agent would be in violation of several laws.
Basically; you're full of shit.
Smiley faces? Check
Ellipses? Check
