I don't really have "favorite authors" so much. But ones I have enjoyed that come to mind: Clarke, Asimov, Bova, Griffith, McDevitt, Turtledove, plus some of the classics like Tolkein, Steinbeck, Buck, etc. And I enjoyed Harry Potter.

I've only been to Mexico outside the US, but the one "country" I really want to visit is the UK, England, Ireland, and Scotland.

I've been to Disney Land once, and Disney World twice. I've been to Epcott, and to Wild Kingdom and something else in FL too.
So, yeah, I've gone back, they can be fun. But you have to be in the right mood. I wouldn't bother going to one in another country though. Too many other things to see.

I tend to plan, at least to some details, for each day of a trip, but try to leave time and energy for whims to take over. It's the curse of motherhood, I think, having to plan!

Not usually, even with sub-titles I find the plots hard to follow. I'm not much of a movie watcher anyway, and if I can't understand what is going on, then I won't bother.
