This week has been a busy blur of corporate nonsense and PTA meetings. Yes, indeed ~ kicking corporate ass by day, baking cookies and wearing pearls by night ~ this shy gal is *tired*!

Today, however, I might just slip on my apron and make a little sauce ~ the air is crisp and cool, and perfect for just such a thing.

Ah yes, double glazing. Helps retain the heat during the winter for sure. Although windows open or not, I think it will be plenty warm. The PTA meetings are worse ~ in corporate America folks report to me, so I can effectively *stop* nonsense. When it comes to willy-nilly moms who haven't a clue, not so much. It's harder for me, because I have to work to simply sit and politely smile. As far as cooking ~ you may have just sparked an idea for an upcoming pic series....

I'm not surprised that you find the PTA more difficult. I found it much more difficult working for a small charity than near the top of an international company. God preserve me from amateurs.

Oh I'm sure you can cook something hot up in the kitchen. Perhaps I can help out by having a little taste.

Yes, I have found that common sense is simply not all that common at said meetings. It can be maddening. Oh, Fishfryer, I can I *ever* cook up something *hot* in a kitchen (or in several other rooms, truth be told). Tasting is an important function of cooking ~ best way to know if I'm getting in right. Now you have me wondering if they could get as red as my bottom?
