Thanks for the compliment about my hair. This photo is from a series taken shortly before I had my hair cut to a more manageable length. That decision led to one of the longest-lasting rows I've ever had with my photographer. He loved my long hair and I sort of loved it as well, mostly because he loved it so much. But to keep it nice took so much time, time I could no longer spare as I had embarked on my new career in corporate finance.

I've always been curious about the origin of the thousand word equivalence. I would guess it wasn't intended literally, bu to convey the idea that a picture is more expressive. Sometimes true, sometimes not IMHO. Many women seem to think that the Grey trilogy is more erotic than any collection of images.
