'Cash and carry' refers to how businesses interact with CUSTOMERS, not employees.

Killing yourself about now would be your only saving grace. Just fucking stop.
I'll give him 5 minutes to go back and edit his crap before I quote everything. I'm nice like that.
Throughout the country, in multiple industries, are countless employers and employees who pay or get paid cash for services rendered. Cash workers are not hired formally by the companies that pay them, so their compensation consists of tangible cash money, as opposed to payroll checks.....

It is perfectly legal and an old school way of payment.
And, because a select few have no idea wtf they are talking about, I took the liberty of doing a search on one company that pays its' employees cash weekly.
'.....offers competitive pay rates for its Salespeople (servers) and Grill Operators (cooks). They are paid weekly in cash. ....

I do not make this stuff up. You should familiarize yourself with employment and employee payment laws under the Dept of Labor.
Okay, I'm bored... compare and contrast a farm in the middle of nowhere with no security and lots of undocumented employees and a ton of cash on hand against a 24 hour food chain with multiple cash drops per day and the department of labor on their ass. The checks and balances are in place for the food chain, not so much for your employee, or employer or partners or what else you are claiming they are now.
What you're calling an 'employee' the rest of the world views as a 'day laborer', the latter unable to require a contract of service from their employer other than "you show up and work, you get paid. You don't, you won't and don't bother coming back tomorrow."
.
You can argue semantics; I think you and your point are still stupid.

Admit it, you are clueless. You fail at Business 101. You view it however you want to, I am not the one who made up the employment laws. Like it or not, they are there for a reason.
You got a problem with it, then complain to the Dept of Labor.![]()
You're right, it is on the books and perfectly legal.
Not to mention its a vestige of pre-electronic banking days.
So, if you have let's say more than 20 such as yourself working for your employer, and they're all paid in cash every week, then I'm still calling you a liar, which was my point to begin with.
Because 'Business 101' says that you don't add risk to your cash flow if you can help it. If you're a cook at the waffle house getting paid in cash weekly, then I offer an apology.
Which is it?
My credit union is far ahead in technology.
We don't have to insert our cards into the machine.... we have a swipe system so you insert and then withdraw your card before you select your transaction.
My card never leaves my hand.
Bonus - these types of machines are almost impossible to scam.

He never said they didn't. He was refuting the claim that "businesses were headed in that direction" which is complete bullshit.
What businesses ARE headed toward is direct deposit, no leeway, lacking a bank account there are pay cards that get your moola loaded directly on it via whatever payroll system your company employs. No upright and smart corporation will keep loads of cash on hand.
Target won't even do that, you CAN go cash your check at their service counter though, and feel free to shop in the store before you ever walk out the doors, poof your check is gone. Smart, but still not paid in cash outright.
I am not that good at bullshiting when it comes to what I do. Though, fact can be stranger that fiction because I work my ass off whenever I can or have to.<SNIP>
I'll just leave that one alone![]()
Hard work is to be commended always. While I still find your 'story' suspicious, that's my problem and not yours. Nevertheless, it wasn't fair of my to jump down your throat, so I apologize for that.
Probably wise.
*smirks and pats your ass*...ok...got get to work little girl
