A friend of mine once made the mistake of saying something about dancing not being very manly. (We were out to dinner where there was dancing) Anyway he looked to my dad for confirmation. Now my dad is retired military, big 6'2" guy. My dad just smiled and little while later stood up and led my mother out onto the dance floor. My friend almost choked.

I was dyin'. But man you should see my parents dance. All these years and they still got it! :D
 
Good for them!! My ex always liked going out to dance, but just clubs and such. We never really talked about learning ballroom dances. Now I'm curious :)

Oh my God! You should so go! The men there are normally outnumbered. lol And I don't know where you live but a lot of places have ballrooms that host lesson/dances. You go and spend the first 30 mins or so learning the steps and the rest of the night practicing, eating, and meeting new people.
 
I'm in the pacific northwest, but I am sure there are classes close enough to go to. This is the kind of thing I'm looking for to meet people - thanks blue and hissub for the idea!!

Procrastinating about housework, waiting for Hubby to get back with kids, getting ready for upcoming week, more procrastinating. Pretty standard day. lol

Don't you just hate those days when you can't seem to work up the enthusiasm or the effort to do anything. Then at the end of the day you curse yourself for being lazy.

*shrugs* ah well. I think I am going to sit here and enjoy the nice weather for just a little while longer. :D
