... it's in the incubator, on life support,
For a moment there I thought the story was set in an incubator. Wow, I thought, you have great imagination. But where would it go from there?

I have three chapters out of four written. I may put it in the contest depending on the final length. Right now it's over 10,000 words with a chapter to go. Have to work with Estragon and figure out what category would be best. I'm more into views, votes and comments then I am on winning. Good thing too or I would probably get disappointed. LOL
Best of luck to all who enters. Still have a couple of weeks before needing to enter the starting gates.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'll try.damp, the only way you'll know is to try it. If you can't finish it before RL interferes, put it in your "saved" file and come back to it at the semester break. Then you'll know if it's worth further effort.
Interesting question. It might be eligible but I'm sure it would tank. I mean, minus scores if it were at all possible kind of tank.Would a foreign language story be eligible?
Sigh. There goes a chance of my reading it.I, with help, am trying to finish my shocker The Sheep of Doom but in French as Les Moutons De Mort.
This should not be eligible! I mean, it's too easy to deliberately sabotage a story and win the Last Place Contest.I'd probably win the Authors' Hangout Last Place (tm) Contest with a foreign language story and would have an even better chance if I translated it in Welsh, Esperanto or an obscure New Guinea language.

I wonder.

First, I thought you weren't elegible for that award and, second, would it be considered a "genuine effort" if you posted a story in a foreign language?![]()
Go for it!has anyone done a master slave story set in summer. The idea of someone with a sunburn being whipped gives me the chills
I think i will enter a story for this. i haven't given any of the contests a try so why not.
Sunburn....whip.....shiver!
saw an entry about a Muppet love fest....it's been done. It's called 'Meet the Feebles.'

And one story (bus w/ mom and sis) have over 500,000 views listed on the bottom despite being posted just today.
One of the comments said something like "why did you change it?" so maybe it's an edit, and the views are from before.
dont write again... just give it up
this is the worst story I have ever read...
It seemed a bit rushed. Enjoyable, but it could have done for being more stretched out.
