Obama Care, How Will Be Judged On Thursday?

Where were you 4 years ago? McCain just showed up to the debates and had nothing on the topic of health care?

He advocated a tax credit for individuals and families that would allow them to purchase their own health insurance. This was in addition to other tax and insurance reform. So don't pretend like Republicans were taking the "let's just leave it the way it is" viewpoint.

And please, don't talk to me like I'm 5 years old.

McCain had nothing constructive on health care. And I was here, where were you?

Tax Credit? But 47% of Americans don't pay taxes and I'm sure the majority of those who don't have insurance fall into that crowd. Which doesn't. . .like I said, not really a plan.

I do apologize to the five year olds who can't come on here and defend themselves however.

The irony of this decision is that the incompetent Obama administration were too stupid to make their case, so Roberts had to show them how to best bamboozle the American people. Roberts has fucked up twice with major consequences for America, he'll stand right up there with Robert Taney in history.

Roger Taney.

I think youre wrong.

I expected Roberts to cave but what I didnt expect is for him to steer the TITANIC into the iceberg. The TITANIC looks OK for now, people are startled and shaken but what he did is fatal to government tyranny; government cannot use the Commerce Clause to compel obedience. That door is now shut for a long time to come.

So far George Will agrees with me. I expect more will agree once they think about what happened today. Its fatal to government overreach.

None of you bed wetters pack the gear to get me down, emotionally, or intellectually. I gain nothing but strength from the level of your infantile perceptions. I've parried your bullshit for 8 years now and haven't even broken a sweat. You're way too easy, way to predictable.

How you characterize yourself, or me, in your own mind is none of my concern. The inanity it produces only serves to vindicate in my mind the accuracy of my negative assessment of your worth. That includes that population of mannerless pudgy midgets whom I've found in contempt of humanity and have placed on Iggy. :D

Example #2 of a vettebirther meltdown.

Example #1 was him being camped out in this failed thread all day.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, eh? :D

You have to admit, though...you were really really really really really hoping this would go the other way. Don't tell me you weren't feeling pangs of anguish deep inside from the burns of not being able to gloat today over a nice barbecue roast of Baby Back Liberal Ribs© like you planned on doing. As it is, you're stuck eating a Conservative Ham Sandwich with Extra Mayo®!

A diss of the NIGGER

Judge Roberts: "It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices."

After all the crowing about the market selloff earlier in the day, the Dow ended up down 24 points. Guess everyone forgot they were supposed to be jumping out windows on Wall St. because more people will be able to get health insurance.

for Vette

"The health care legislation's expansion of the federal government's purview has improved our civic health by rekindling interest in what this expansion threatens – the Framers' design for limited government. Conservatives distraught about the survival of the individual mandate are missing the considerable consolation prize they won when the Supreme Court rejected a constitutional rationale for the mandate – Congress' rationale – that was pregnant with rampant statism."

Looks like Zoomy is trying to steal Porky's title of Lit's Most Vile Poster.

Romney campaign says they are now up to $2.3m raised today day; 22,000 donations

Anyone else beside me picture Vetty saying this with a quiverin' lower lip?

Bottom Line: America 1, Vettebigot 0.

I have to admit my disappointment, but I am in good stead as most of the legal community was just as surprised as I was at Robert's action. It was completely unexpected in my view. I still do not understand why, instead of judging the government's case on it's face, he instead thought up and offered a prenumbral solution to the government's dilemma.

I will admit, the Utopian violence the court chooses to direct at our liberty makes me tremble for the future of my country, but don't mistake that for any weakness in my desire to fight another day.:D

It's not your country anymore, tubby. That's kinda the point you seem to be missing.

There was NO "prenumbral solution".
Fuck that.

It was an open-and-shut case of Congress has the authority to levy taxes.

PERIOD.

Spin it ALL YOU WANT, you little bitch, but when you go to bed tonight Obamacare will have passed muster with all three branches of government.

Don't like it? Somalia beckons.
