What Made You Smile/Laugh Today?

Apparently there's a lot of regular twisting and untwisting of Cleo going on, that you are doing or not doing, and possibly undoing with pushiness, happiness and light. I seem to remember there being some sitting on porches and drinking lemonade or fulfillment juice or bonding tea or something at some point, and that this was a boon to your weary frozen bones. Of course this could all be a dream, brought on by ass spice poisoning.

I told you not to use the cheap ass spices.

-sigh-

Best take off those clothes and get yourself in a cool bath. We'll be in shortly.

Ads for Fifty Shades of Grey have finally started popping up locally. Two separate family members have expressed an interest in it, based solely on these (which don't mention the content at all) and I've had to talk them down from buying it.

None of them would buy it if they'd known it was an erotic novel, but I still feel like I've done a public service :D

Hold it. It's a Pantone swatch guide, isn't it?

All this swatch talk got me thinking about colours. Should a company or individual be allowed to copyright a colour? See, they do this in the paint world. I find it weird.

Hm, wrong thread.

I smiled because he'll be home in four days.

I smiled because he's in tune with me despite being thousands of miles away right now. How does he know what I need just as I'm realizing it?

I smiled because his friends say he's never been happier. Neither have I.

Oh and separate from my love, I smiled at lovely photo avs (okay, I know I'm beating a dead horse...but it's nice to find unexpected surprises on Lit :D).

Got an email from an American living in France who is interested in my costumes to dress her daughter in for a local (in France) Medieval fair!

So I have shipped over seas before, but this just tickles me as I sit here and wonder if my costume will be at a fair that I have been dreaming of attending.

Bike. Wind swooshing in my hair and skirt. Purple toenails in blue water and white reflection clouds swimming about. Ice cream, sea gulls, dandelions and grass cut for the first time this year. Smelling the lakeside wind and warmth on my clothes even after coming home.

It was supposed to rain today.

I started smiling half way through this post... finished it. Then, I read it again and it made sigh too. Lovely. Thank you. :rose:

I made a lemon bundt cake for a friends BBQ today that was the hit of the party. It was perfectly tangy tart with just the right amount of sweetness that makes your mouth water and your jaw want to clench as you eat it. As they ate it, it made people make all sorts of mmmmmmm noises. LOVE that. :)

This made me smile today. I need a giant sign with an arrow pointing to this comment.

I am FedExing you a giant sign with which you can point to your screen!

Here. It kinda looks like a "Like" button, being blue and all... even though it definitely is not the same Pantone registry

You're a handy guy, with buzzy towers and wiener dogs and arrows and such. But don't fuck with Pantone. They see all. They know all. And they have no conscience.

I'd say you were just doing a Pantone 288 CP in a Pantone 284 UP zone, boy.

It's not the colors that requires vim and smarts, it's the friggin' numbers. Ever tried to number a basic eggshell with an extra one percent Cyan on a new uncoated messenger bag texture? It takes nerves of steel.

I was just thinking of you, and wondering how things were proceeding in your world. And I know longer need to wonder. :) Bravo.

Paragraph of the Month Award (you get the primo parking space next to the BDSM cafe board door...)

Watching the original Dukes of Hazzard :)

Laughing at a tipsy person, even if they got that way drinking the wrong wine.

Purple hair.
