I put my heart and soul into FemShep. I romanced Thane, and then Garrus, and even Kaiden. I modeled her after what I would have done in every situation, almost pure paragon, ready to sacrifice everything in order to help innocents in need...she was my own personal superhero.

Three games, I traveled with her, through life-altering events whose consequences carried themselves throughout the entire franchise. Then I get the ending. Pick your color. And if you don't play multiplayer, you die.

It's B.S. That's not a fucking ending. No loose ends tied, NO CHANCE for a happy ending where I save the universe, get the guy, get married and have a passel of kids?! THAT is what Shepard deserves. She deserved a happy ending. And instead, I got a rush-job throwaway three-martini-lunch piece of shit. This Jesus-model, who -came back from the dead to save the world-, deserved a life of peace and prosperity, with the ability to see the beauty of her positive effect on the world(s) around her.

If I had a dev in front of me when I saw the ending, I would have socked him square in the nose.

I was ready to hunt them down and turn them into husks...they put about a husk's level of cognitive skill into coming up with that ending. And excuse me, but some of us don't have time to play multi-player. So I join you - especially your one word final assessment of the devs.
 
Satin, Chiara? Yes.

My FemShep deserved better. Maybe not to retire to that beach and have freaky Turian-Human hybrid kids with Garrus, but at the very least she deserved to go down swinging with that tough as nails Turian badass at her back. Not what we ended up getting. And that's even leaving aside that it's lazy-ass writing too.
