Pedophilia is not a crime and therefore would have no statute of limitations. For child molestation I agree with the statute of limitations that each state has since it is their law. I think most states have it around 10 years or so. Seems about right. Some I believe don't have one anymore for certain sex crimes. That's ok, too. I've never said any different. Don't believe I've ever argued statute of limitations for any crime on this site. It's a silly argument to begin with since the laws are generally considered to be adequate.

The Polanski case has nothing to do with statute of limitations. If it did then there wouldn't be a case since California's is ten years. My opinion of it had to do with not caring and the victim saying to let it go. My opinion hasn't changed.
