Truthfully, I don't expect responses from any of the pm's that I send. Most of them are just checking in on someone or just to say hello; nothing more. I figure that it's the lady's prerogative if she wants to respond or not. You can have no expectations of anything that you may see, find, or want from lit. It is too organic an environment for that. I've found that if the lady is interested, then she will respond in kind. And if she is not, then she won't. No harm, no foul. It just is the nature of the beast. Surely nobody's feelings should be hurt when a pm is ignored. There are always reasons why, and most of them have to do with how well the sender moves through the boards. just saying.
