I have tried getting a Greeter job at wal-mart, but that gets me no where..

Don't give up. You just never know what opportunities will come up from what sources. One of my younger sisters has a job as a abreast feeding counselor at the county agency, all because she went there for advice when she was breast feeding her baby. My brother in law got a job as a pest control tech for Orkin when he called them up to complain about the crappy service he'd been getting. He jokingly said that if he knew anything about pest control, he'd come out there and show them how it ought to be done. They told him, 'Come on out and talk to us, we can't keep a quality person on this route! We'll teach you all you need to know.' Next thing you know, he had a job with them.


It sucked, but it was a job.

Very cool way to get jobs.. That's almost how I got a job at Domino's back in the day.
I told the counter guy that they were making the pizza wrong.. he looks at me "Your so smart, come back here an show us." so I did.. he was the store owner an hired me.
