That's why most people use alts, no? Ken(s) aside, alts are far more often a way to settle scores or agree with the 'original' poster—the same person as the one agreeing.

Having said that, i also think anyone who says, "Who cares?" is being a bit disingenuous. Unless you come here to make announcements and then leave, never talking to anyone or reading what anyone else says, you care. Back in the early days of Lit there really were more Lit gatherings. Patient1 went to a couple of those so there are more than a few people here who know he is real. I imagine it is that way with most people here but not all. There are likely some people here who are exactly who they say they are but have never met or talked to anyone from the GB. Doesn't make them any less real, just less able to "prove" who they are.

I've met probably thirty or forty people from Lit irl over the years. I guess I could have made them all up. The pics are hard to fake, though. Hiring an actress who looks just like SheRem or Glo, for example. There just aren't that many gorgeous women out there for hire...
