This thread, and a few others, plus the people (like you) who post here, have really made a huge difference in the short time I've been here, in accepting myself -- as I am now, even though for health reasons, I need to lose some more weight.

I have had the same experience here, feline! The people in this thread are wonderful and really cool. They've helped me to understand that size matters not - it's the mind and confidence that makes someone sexy. (although big boobies sure do help! ) I need to lose some weight as well, but I have a few medical conditions that make it very difficult.

I know I'm happy to meet all sorts of new SCBB ladies here and help them to realize that they are sexy!

All so true! I've felt bad about my shape & size most of my adult life, since gaining weight. It's very liberating feeling to realize that we can feel good about ourselves as we are, and there are those out there who love how we look. Much better than trying to lose weight to be able to feel good about oneself. If weight loss is needed - fine. But other people's approval shouldn't be the motivation. I'm on my soap box now! My 50-year-old knees (actually the joints feel much older) are at the point of needing to be replaced, and I'm having trouble walking because of the pain, so I've got to get some of the pressure off of them by losing some weight. I'll still be chubby, probably, and that's fine with me.
