Although I will support any religous belief, I cannot abide anyone forcing their personal views on another.

I assume this must be a private institution, otherwise they would forfeit all federal assistance (and I assume state assistance as well).

All I can say is: If you say you are a Christian institute, I think Christ would condone you for such narrowminded thinking (and I personally hope you don't rot in hell for your beliefs -- or maybe I do).

Homosexuals have always had to worry about losing their jobs.
Always, always, always.

”Anything outside that is not biblical, we do not accept," Dowless told Channel 2. He told another publication, The Christian Post, "“We have a right to hire only Christians."

They may have that right. They're a private company/organization/whatever. As long as they're paying taxes like any other private school does, I don't see a problem.

Is their world view incredibly narrow? Yes.

Are they looking at a possible EEOC nightmare? I think so. It is illegal to discriminate based on sexuality. The fact that they have adultery and premarital sex in their contract may also get them into trouble. Not sure what Georgia's hire/fire laws are but if the use that as sole basis to fire someone, they're in danger of a lawsuit.

On the darker side, at least they're honest and if people are willing to work in such a close-minded place, at least they're supporting themselves.

Rational thoughts aside- I personally think its horrible for them to discriminate so but I don't have to work there (wouldn't want to). I feel bad for their kids.

let he who has not sinned throw the first stone. paraphrased of coarse judo christian beliefs do seem to point to homosexuality as a sin. the whole
Sodom and Gamora (SP) thing and as a private school they do have the right to enforce the own rules but this ruling just does not seem very Christ like.
