Welcome fellow Lit authors, to my final post involving one SR71Pilot. (pauses for the applause to die down and ignores the cries of “thank fucking God!) As some of you that I speak to privately know I will be drastically cutting down on my time here. When I do post I will stick to doing what I should be doing , having fun. So having said that let us move on.
First let us meet the parties of interest here.
We have SR71Pilot. A Well published highly educated “real world” author. That is in addition to being a former pilot, spy, and diplomat. He is also the owner of his own editing business and of course as he never fails to remind us a “qualified editor” and an adventurous bi-sexual …… oh, sorry I was starting to doze.
Now meet me! Lovecraft68, the uneducated, ranting, warehouse working, blue collar, amateur hack writer.
Now looking at our descriptions you have a highly trained very successful author versus a rank amateur. So one would think that on this site Pilot should be blowing me away. Not just me, but everyone. All you sad wannabe’s that he is constantly telling “reality sucks” A man with as much experience and talent as he should be dominating this site! Making it his own, setting standards no one else could even dare to match! We should only be so lucky to get a chance to touch his keyboard!
Yes he should be kicking the asses of all us hacks who put their drivel up on a free site and beg for feedback and acknowledgement. He is a true literary giant amongst us. Well he should be anyway. But sadly he is not. Lets look at some fun and interesting statistics. To make it more fun I will compare him with me.
First off of course Pilot has a much larger body of work than I do. 499 stories to 53. Course he has been here since 2006 me as of 5/2010. Now in the time since I have been here he has me 77-53 in stories. So more, but 1.5 times more not a huge amount. Taking into consideration his penchant for 1 page stories and mine average about 5 I think we have equal bodies of work in the same time period.
Now before I go further it is important that I say this, I have never once mocked anyone's work or scores on this site. I have never given a one bomb, nor have I ever left an insulting feedback. I take into consideration that every author works hard on their stuff and good or bad is proud of it. For many it is an escape from reality and a source of pride that they do something others don’t . I would never take that from someone, it is not my right nor would I anyway. Pilot on the other hand lives to mock, ridicule, and demean. To flaunt his ‘credentials” as a superior writer. Is he? Hardly. I will not feel bad for pointing these things out as it is more than warranted
Of his 499 stories, only 167 have a red H. That is about 33% that is it. only one out of three stories. Good for people like us, but the great Habu? Amongst those stories are 30, yes 30 that fall under 4.00. More amazing is a total of 72 that only fall between 4-4.2. That is 102 total or a fifth of his work. Hold on… what is that smell? Oh, it’s those scores.
Now Me. 49/53 for Hot ratings. My lowest is 4.35 and I have 2 at 4.48. Now of course I am known for the “one note samba” so a quick look at the non samba stories.
Allison scores first(fetish) 4.59 Almost Perfect (BDSM) 4.54. Anniversary to remember (incest) 4.68. At the feet of my mother (incest) 4.78. The Breaking of Allison Ch 1/2 4.54/4.48. Weekends with Laura(incest) 4.72. No too bad for a hack.
Now even though he scream til he is blue he is not just a “Gay male” author 412 of his 499 are GM so over 80% he does have other stories (2 great incest stories 4.19/4.46 yawn) so we will say that GM is his ‘strong suit’. It also seems to be the majority of his fabulous “real” published books.
For me 49/53 are incest so that is my field so to speak. So let us look at the top lists to see where he and I stand in our chosen genre’s
Okay on the 30 day list I only looked at the top 50.

How can such an incredible Real world author not have one tale in the top 100 of his strongest genre? With amateurs like nomoretears, and, Peterpanic and Talismania., Kicking his ass?
Before we go further lets peek at Incest for the last 12 months. Damn! Is that… yes it is! It is the one note samba at the #2 spot! And hold on…. There it is in #4,7,10,12,32,49 and at 52 my non samba At the feet of my mother sitting at a cool 4.78 and 400+ votes. Now back to the samba 53,89,90 and 93. Yeesh I’m sick of seeing me there!
Okay, what does this mean to me? Nothing really, except that apparently I appeal higher to my target crowd than he does.
Now for Pilot’s protests! Gay Male is low viewed. Yes it is. But man do they vote! I see stories with 5,000 views and hundreds of votes! Except for Pilot who is lucky to get 50! Over 500 favorites and this loser gets vote totals around the 50 mark, what gives?
Gay male doesn’t vote? No Pilot they don’t vote for you! No more tears has stories with 500 plus votes. Many others are in the hundreds. Hell Cruel to be Kind is new and stomping your ass!
Never mind how damn low your scores are! Must be trolls right? Funny, the other GM authors, the ones ahead of you, so most of them, are doing okay. Never mind with my BDSM/incest/ satanic/sexual abuse/ depressing samba I have more than my share of one bombs.

Granted my vote total is low for incest and I freely admit that. However my vote totals are higher than his and we are talking score and placement here. I also default back to I never claim to be better than anyone else.

As for your real world publishing? Who cares? Anyone can put out an e-book, hell I’ve done it. As for Excessia? You got in early and Selena Kitt has closed the doors to new authors for awhile now. Perhaps she should look around there’s plenty of authors better than you right here. Just refer back to the top lists.
My point at the end of this? How fucking dare you, put yourself above others on this forum! How dare you attack and critique and put down people like Estragon, and others. Look at the 12th annual awards, who got nominated out of the two of us? Granted I’m, losing badly-those Jaz Cullen fans are dedicated-but I got to the dance and you’re holding the door for me and everyone else.
