But they really are very similar. In Books of Magic, it's a young boy who could end up to be the world's greatest magician. He's 12 at the beginning, he has a scar on his forehead, he wears glasses, and his familiar is an owl. .... Yeah, tell me that doesn't seem a bit ripped off

I seem to go through phases with RPG/FPS/etc. I've gone as much as 6-8 months at a time and am engrossed by a single game like Civ or MarioKart or FF stuff....but then it wears off and it just sits. Do you go through cycles like that too ??

Exactly! Keep on learning, keep on soaking up experiences... can't complain about that. I just don't like the changes the body goes through. That's really the worse thing when it comes to getting older

I get 1 game out at a time through Gamefly. I check it out, if I hate it.. send it back. If I like it, I try to play until I beat the game. If I really really like it, I pay to keep it. Then sometimes I'll rent a game from the video store and try to beat it in the 5 days I have.. which, I usually end up having to re-rent it (like I did with Alice Madness Returns and this current one Crysis 2).

I generally will play a game until I beat it. Though if it's one I own, I sometimes get bored and I'll move on to something else. The one game that I tend to play over and over and have still not gotten completely bored with is Borderlands

Yes, I know what movies he's done.. I've seen a few of them. I enjoy. I'm just not all.. OMG!! I LOVE WHAT HE DOES!!! kind of thing. I read the description of the book, seems interesting. Doesn't seem like they're the "typical" vamps in his books.. more just an infection thing. I'm sure I'll eventually check it out.

And please.. don't even try to compare Twilight crap to anything else. I'll be so happy when that shit goes away

By the way, I am currently playing Duke Nukem Forever.......and it's great. In that it lives up to what it is supposed to be.....a cheesy cornball adventure. It's pretty much an homage to those 80's action flicks with the ridiculously powerful hero that whoops ass, uses one liners and gets all the babes.

I've always looked younger than my age (when I was 23 and had my daughter, there were some strangers that thought I was too young.. they thought I was only like 13-15 at that time. Yes.. I looked that young) ... I really don't mind. Just means when I hit my mid 40's, I'll look like I'm still in my mid 30's =D

I was watching TheRadBrad do a let's play on Duke Nukem Forever. It looked utterly boring. I couldn't even keep watching his vids on it, and I usually love watching his vids.. cuz he's so funny.
