Changing the title of a published story...

I've written three parts of a story series so far: "TXR-92U-2280 -- Call Name: Sara". The site administrators correctly listed the first two as "Pt. 01" and "Pt. 02" correctly... Here are the links:

http://www.literotica.com/s/txr-92u-2280-call-name-sara-pt-01

http://www.literotica.com/s/txr-92u-2280-call-name-sara-pt-02

However, when I sent in the third part of the series, it did not include "Pt. 03", just the title of the series. Here is the link:

http://www.literotica.com/s/txr-92u-2280-call-name-sara

This was especially problematic because Part 3 picks up right where Part 2 left off, so I think it has thrown some readers off -- one even mentions it in their comments.

I've sent two messages to the "Literotica" username where the feedback links direct me, but I've had no response. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I should address this issue?

Also -- does anyone have thoughts about soliciting additional feedback from readers? I've gotten a few comments, but given the substantial investment of time that these stories represent, I'd like to see if I'm missing some additional opportunity for feedback. I've seen stories with lower rankings get more feedback.

Thank you very much in advance for your help with both issues...

Anonymously yours,

First, those e-mail addresses for the site personnel haven't worked for years and years. I have no idea why they don't just excise them. You need to PM Laurel via the "Private Message" system (upper right corner of this page).

To get the title change, though, try resubmitting your part three, under the old title, but add "edit" behind it. In the notes section state what you want the title to be changed to. It should take the same amount of time to post as it takes for a submission to post.

I understand your frustration over following contact instructions with no result.

Thank you!

Thanks for the prompt and helpful feedback! As you suggested, I sent a private message to Laurel, so hopefully that will get this sorted out...

Are you really an SR-71 pilot?

Bad ass...

Only in his own imagination...has he ever been a pilot or a bad ass.

Don't you know that nobody on the internet is who they say they are?

You mean I'm not Howard Phillips Lovecraft? Oh this sucks!! It would however explain why I can't come up with a good sequel for Call of Cthulhu or Dunwich horror.

There you go...see he's not really who he even thinks he is!

I love it when someone assumes everyone else has had the same humdrum life they've had. :D

My RL has been anything but humdrum, but I don't brag about it to everyone in the world.

It also hasn't been imaginary, while I sit in a home for the criminally insane and pretended to all my cell mates what a fantastic blackbird pilot I was.

In fact I keep my private life, except for a few innocuous items, private.

But if your so damn interested, just ask. I might even tell you the truth. :D

Dickhead.

Ah, I can see the Domwoolf was right. You got up on the wrong side of your gutter today. :D

I wasn't bragging. I was asked a question and I answered it. The jealousy part--as well as the ugly backbiting--was all yours.
