It is not cold where you are!
Drove up our frozen driveway this morning, to see 4 frozen lambs in the home paddock.
Right now it's -3 here, at 5pm

A little known CRICKET FACT....

First testicular guard was used in cricket in 1874
and the first helmet was used in 1974.

It took 100 years for men to realise that their brains are as important as their balls ...

i hope you and Bandit are well, and staying warm where you are :rose:

yes i will make a point of posting a bit each day during these winter months

*chuckles* i'd rather have an aussie winter than go back to my canadian winters

I did post a while ago about getting snowed in in summer in Alberta, also crossing the Rockies in Washington state after that I have no interest at all in seeing winter in Canada.

oh? got snowed in eh? I do remember one year where it snowed on July 17. i think that was either 1997 or 1998. Were you there at that time?

I have to admit, snow is rare in summer, but it has happened more than once in my lifetime.

When my hubby came back to Canada with me, in December 2007, he was like a kid in a lolly shop. He always said those winter days seemed warmer to him than a cold damp winter day here. He would have rolled naked in the snow, if my mom hadn't been around LOL

have a great evening to you and Bandit :):rose:

Very rarely, I make a recipe from one of the supermarket magazines (coles or woolies).
Tonight I made rice rocks from the woolies mag - and am here to report they are a winner!
Everyone loved them :D
But me being me, I have alredy rewritten the recipe to improve it for next time.

No my only time there was 1994 for 1 month & 1995 for 3 months, 95 it was a freezing northerly gusting accross Alberta.

Several years ago my sister & her kids came in winter & complained about the cold here too.

I always have a great evening with BANDIT:heart:
