I think the Aussie cops are all running on the same deal & in NSW with loads of speed cameras, mobile cops speed cameras & RTA (Road Traffic Assholes who only did regestration & licences previouly) now with speed cameras plus talk of local councils also being given the right to run their own speed cameras.

Don't you mean Really Tremendous Assholes? :D

dammit - the 18 yr old came home sick and has infected the rest of us.
sometimes kids just aren't worth it :(
i have the beginnings of a raging cold.... and i have not been sick like this for a while!

My sympathy :rose: but it's not just kids who share their bugs, I'm still suffering from bronchitis so have been limiting my time on the net because I'm feeling like shit.

Owch, Queen. May Lemsip, Vicks and eucalyptus oil be your allies!

Only 6 more years (as long as you don't have anymore) and you can say you are rid of all of them.

Just tell them to move out at 18, and find their own way. XD

i am soooooo not having any more!
when i had my tubes tied, i asked the surgeon to pull the ends of them up under my earlobes so i could feel them every day :D

6 years?
they never leave!
and if they do, they always find a reason to come back!

and then they infect me with the pox :(

Do they do a lot of housework?

Perhaps you need to make it less easy and enjoyable for them. Not in a mean way, but more in a 'you're adults now, so you can do more chores if you wish to live here beyond 18'.

lol

my mum had a friend she paid the first months rent and the bond moved the sons stuff and gave him the key when he got home from work, classic

Gee I found it easy by giving my daughter work to do around home when ever she was there & that worked a treat.

at the moment, they are doing all the heavy work.
my back is twinged, my right elbow has severe tendonitis, and i have this cold.
the boys are working overtime! firewood, laundry, carrying everything for me, shopping, and i started my yearly autumn house purge before i got so sick and sore, so they've had to continue with that.
they hate me right now

"After midnight....We're going to let it all hang out...."

Morning ppl, hope the Sydney people have kept above the waterline this afternoon!

Evening all, any Perthites shivering away like me at the moment?

I spent the day in an air-conditioned room, it was colder inside than out :(

It's 2.6 deg here at the moment, heading toward minus 3.
Winter is definitely here.
I think we'll get snow here this year if this keeps up!
