You really should try an Aussie berger done on the grill, beef patty, letuce, tomatos, beets (beetroot here), cheese, bacon, egg With BBQ or tomato sauce on the burger buns now that is a great Aussie feed there.

How do you compress it to eat......lmao No beets, I hate those.

Well there are those who also don't like beets although the blend of tastes does mix well & they are less noticed but do add to the flavour.

Also need to get Aussie sausages & you'll forget having the Brats.:D

Sausages AKA snags are great with BBQ or tomato sause & burnt onions cooked in oils on the grill MMMMMMMM melted cheese over the lot is a bonus I like.

We have onions here called Valdalia, grown only in Georgia, great for grilling and sweet. I eat very few brats actually, way too greasy. I get deer sausage from my Brother, now that is great on the grill. Blue cheese on a burger is great also.

They're called a "burger with the lot" you can even get a pineapple ring on there as well :p

When I used to live on the farm the extended family would make their own sausages, we used to get the sausage mix (spices etc) from a wholesale butcher and if my ex shot a wild pig or deer he'd kill a sheep to mix with it (to stop it being too dry) and we'd have sausages for weeks :)

Used to do our own corned beef/silverside too - funnily enough ours was the only family that ate the tongue.....*yum* ;)

hi
nothing beats a snag tomato sauce and onions
but if you are passing through Warrnambool you have to try a kermon's egg and bacon burger, the local uni (deakin) put out a warning years ago and trpled their sales it is a must

I think KFC is trying the bad publicity thing with their double fillet, double cheese thing that is over 2000 calories each meaning one of them is way more than most adults calorie intake for a whole day in one meal.

KFC chickens are full of steroids and antibiotics. :eek:Hardees/Carl's here in the States like to see how many calories they can stuff in a sandwich too.

with the steak.....

Roasted Red Peppers

Grill-roasted peppers are great for use in numerous recipes, atop grilled chicken breasts, or on their own drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with balsamic vinegar and salt.

2 medium sweet red or green peppers, rinsed

Place whole peppers in center of cooking grate. Grill peppers, turning every 5 minutes, until charred evenly on all sides. Remove peppers from grill and place in a paper bag; close tightly. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes to steam off skins. Remove peppers from bag; peel away charred skins. Cut off tops and remove seeds. Slice, chop, or use as needed.

Makes 4 servings.

The sandwich is the 2 brest fillets with the rest filling the inside, my heart spasms every time the add comes on TV.

I did try the wraps but they to tossed my blood sugars through the roof so I avoid KFC.

our chicken here in oz is clean.
Have been for 40 years.
They grow so big so fast here because we don't give them more than an hour a day night time. They feed them 23/7 under 'day' lights to make them eat more.
Hence the large fat deposits on the birds.

It's obscene
No wonder there's an obesity epidemic.
