G'evening all!

Well, I've had a most productive week/weekend. I have finally finished my uni assignment (though am waiting for my other group members to finish their bit...so may have an hour or so more to do on it...but the hard part is done) which means - UNIT 10 IS DONE!! Only two more to do! And, even more exciting - I get the biggest break from uni I have had in 2 years! (about 7 weeks I think)

The rest of the weekend has been packing...the house was looking like a bomb had hit it for a while, but is looking neater again now that everything is in boxes. Only one more week to go.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend

BANDIT:heart: & I have just been through the packing but so far have only unpacked some of needed items & have lots of boxes still to unpack.

I've been packing up bit-by bit. It's much more plesant than rushing it.
However for the unpacking - I'm planning on taking a whole week of leave and getting it all unpacked - plus I also want to paint the master bedroom and organise new carpet and the ensuite renovation. A little ambitious, perhaps, but I like a challenge!
It's a bit of a pain, but all worth it when everything is set up and it finally feels like "home". I'm looking forward to that.

We are only just getting used to the new carpet smell here, we have doors & windows open every chance we get to try to rid the smell but it is nice under foot.

this is going to sound really wierd - but saucers of white vinegar can sometimes help get rid of the smell (depending on the type of chemical off-gassing you have from the carpet).
depending on how strong the smell is, you might need 3 or 4 in each room.
saucers are better than bowls, more surface area.
hope that helps :)

Sadly it is cheap nylon stuff for rental properties for a long lasting life in here but it is a better one of what I have seen.

...moving west slightly. Still about the same distance to work, but now I'll be able to catch the train. I'm quite excited (and terrified) about having a pool too. I know summer is over for this year, but I'll be sure to get a swim or two in before it gets too cold.

Perth.... cold?

I hate it when I know I have an early morning only to find myself tired but not able to sleep.

I should just turn the computer off and force myself to lay still and count sheep.
