Persia and Pakistan both have great poets, though some of it's kinda cheesy when translated LOL And my Farsi is too rusty to do poetry..
Not saying no, but, the Rubbayiat is fucking awesome, even in translation.
I know, I know, it happens to be the only work of Faarsi poetry I know, alas.
