I've been wanting to do a Gundam OO group thread...I'm just having trouble how it'll work as an SRP.

Heh. We tried a Gundam War idea....failed epically due to lack of quality writers.

I just think it'd work out only as a regular RP then with the chance for sex to occur as a sidebar. The real problem is that not many of the female writers here are familiar with gundam or at least not enough to feel confidant in doing such a long running plot heavy thread, and a group thread that doesn't get down to things raunchy rather quickly dies quickly.

Though if we did a normal RP version we wouldn't need female writes.

Yeah, atleast with something like Star Wars or Star Trek or even Avatar now its fairly ubiquitous so any thread from those is almost sure to garner more interested quality female writers, Gundam is just too narrow a fanbase...unless one of us finds that one in a million girl that's seen it and is as big a fan as we are...I just don't think it'll work out. Any attempt at it will be putting alot of pressure on our co-writers to keep up and understand it enought to add to it.

Not to mention the danger of derailing the whole thing with having to explain the technology over and over. It's just better off visual rather than literal.

The real problem is that most of the girls on here don't realize that Gundam was never GEARED towards guys. It was geared towards girls, and made by a woman. But because of all the giant robots and explosions and stuff, the relationship dramas were overlooked by most people.

Depends on the show and my inspiration. In the case of Star Wars, a lot has yet to be explained or explored.

There are always, always loop hole around.
But for me it's trying to stay with in Gundam itself and also to have a armored core level of MS to play with.

Also for say Gundam settings.
In the shows, mostly UC gundam, I like the idea of having characters from the side stories show up.
I mean like take the final battle in MSG.
What if Shiro from 08th MS team was there with say a Gundam G3 or something(or one of the EZ8 mods from the games)
Or on a better setting ZZ =D
or CCA!
CCA with Amuro, Kamile and Judau joined Forces?
Or if Haman didn't take her own life at the end of ZZ?
Would she have joined Char and his Neo Zeon?
Or would she have sided with Amuro(unlikely) and Londo Bell to stop Char from dropping Axis on Earth?

That's what I like to do too. What's that guy's story there in the background. I generally don't like it when people say play John Crichton from Farscape and have him ditch Aeryn for Zann or something completely slapping the face of the show to begin with.

Though I liked how Razor did that bleach thread with Rukia and the ones with the sailor scouts playing on their stated goals he was talking to someone about earlier in the china pearl inn. Those were clever ideas, Razor.

We tried that with the Gundam War, and look what happened. Still, if we did actual recruiting instead of making it an open casting call, it might actually work.

The Orihime one was actually a great deal funnier, I think, mainly because Orihime is such a total klutz, but has these moments of such sheer brilliance that it makes you wonder if the ditz routine is an act. And then she takes a sip of scalding hot coffee and does a spittake to rival sixties cartoons.

heh sounds like something he'd like.
I only reach Bleach in Shonen Jump right now.
I also watched a few eps, but I never really got into it myself.
Though some of the girls are sexy yes =)

I really liked Yoruichi teasing Ichigo in some of the Episodes, any thread I do starring her I would want that sort of thing, and that would be putting too much on my co-writer's shoulders to be fair to her. Alot of the women here would be able to pull off Hinata's shyness and attraction to Naruto, and I'm sure I could pull off Naruto's complete obliviousness to the fact she likes him. though if I were to do characters from Naruto it'd more than likely be Shigamaru and Tamari.
