Right now I'm scheduled 9 hour shifts, 5 days a week, and no breaks. :

I don't mind 12's so long as the days off aren't too wonky and I can go home and sleep when i get off. I don't mind being busy so long as it doesn't involve the general public. Or being in charge of other people. Those are the tiring things.Even with 4 days off I can't keep up with 12 hour shifts long, 10 hour aren't too bad if I get 3 days off. Right now I'm scheduled 9 hour shifts, 5 days a week, and no breaks. Most of the time I end up working 10, and it's not un heard of for me to do a 12 2-3 times a month.
Oh and my off days aren't nessisarily in a row.![]()

Suddenly, I remember why I like being self-employed.

Casual Fridays?
Did we provide you with an "opportunity to practice gratitude," as my Sir calls it? You know, when you can look at someone else and think "Man, am I glad I don't have to deal with that issue/circumstance/person/etc in my life right now..."

Yes, yes, you did. Thank you.![]()
Sometimes I am an idiot. The whole hah-hah-I-am-funny thing is sometimes good for keeping people from getting too close.
I hope she knows how much I care for her and how much I wish her peace in the months ahead.
If I had the money and resources I would have no issue with committing mass genocide on lice. Those fuckers would all be DEAD and I would LAUGH and feel NO SHAME! AHAHAHAHAHA
Can anybody, please, tell me wtf "masochistic stubbornness" is supposed to mean? And, perhaps, why it would be a bad thing?

Sometimes being a submissive means giving in, even though you know you are right. Because the point is not who is right and who is wrong, the point is that you accept that your D-type has the right to your acceptance that they are right.
Being there right now.
And that is why I'm not saying anything and hoping he'll accept to punish me.
But I really REALLY want to point out the truth and HIS role in the mess ...
*sigh*
Hell yes!!! This made me laugh out loud. This is probably one of the hardest things I have had to learn about being submissive. I can be very stubborn when I know I am right. This is why I worded it like I did. It would be dishonest of me to admit that he is right when I know he is wrong. But, I can honestly admit that his position dictates that I submit to his stubborness and his right to be right. Because the truth is..D-types know when they are wrong when we point it out to them initially. There is no purpose to making them admit it. (except to make ourselves feel better, but that's not very submissive-like) And I know he knows and will often make subtle changes which tells me he at least listened.
I've been informed that I've "outgrown my masochistic stubbornness" and am temporarily cut off from heavy play. Though that was on the heels of a very snotty, less than appropriately submissive exchange. ...Ok, so I was trying to pick a fight and my leash got yanked very hard.Just a guess here--it's when a person is being so stubborn even to the point that they know there will be serious consequences but still not giving in.

(yes, that really does make sense...at least to me. Though it may not have anything to do with what you are really talking about)
That's ok, luv, it seems to be in the air. I can't tell you the number of times that the words "But that's not FAIR!!!" has come up for me in the last week or two. Yeah... had I been one of my kids I'd have sent me to my room for quiet time.Yep.
Right now though Ive not had the chance to express MY side of things yet and I don't even know I'll get the chance.
So I wait and stew and wait and keep me from sealing my fate ...
But ... it's not all MY fault!!!!!
*sigh*
I do sound like a whiny brat, isn't it?![]()
You have my sincerest sympathies. Tea Tree oil is supposed to help keep them away, though. Just put some in the shampoo.
You can buy tea tree oil shampoo, and I'm going to. But it won't help if their stupid music teacher keeps having them share HATS.![]()

Have you notified the school nurse and principal yet? Headlice issues in schools are a pretty darn big deal, at least in the south, and teachers - even music teachers - are supposed to know better than to do things like that. Burn his/her butt. And not in a good way.
>.<
OH! Oh, that's not ok! That's way not ok.
...Have you threatened to bill her yet?
I'm sure she will soon enough. And if that doesn't work try chocolate and very heartfelt apologies.![]()
