How spooky is that (no pun intended as its Halloween), I've just been listening to Iron Maiden (Run to the Hills and The number of the beast, classic tracks)
I'm actually not that into Run to the Hills, they've made so many so much better songs
This sounds great.
I like the lyrics, very cleverly done I think. I like songs that tell a tale, rather than music for musics sake (probably why I like floyd so much)
Yeah, I've got a great taste in music
III is Led Zep by the way![]()
But so does Murders in the Rue Morgue
It could be Van Halen too...I would say so...
And I figured that much.![]()
Heavy doesn't make music worse... Although when it becomes much more noisy than Pantera, then even I am out.Very true, dont get me wrong I'm not knocking any of their songs, they are hugely under-rated, just because they are "heavy". The musicianship alone is stunning. And we all know what bring your daughter is supposed to be about...

It fits Doors - Back Door Man rather well![]()

Actually Maiden isn't heavy metal but NWoBHMI don't think its heavy at all, but mention Maiden to people other than fans already and they dismiss it as too loud / heavy without actually knowing anything about it. Ha ha ha, for me its Slayer, I draw the line there...
Good one, you are on fire tonight (and I cant think of a witty repost either, must be lock of sleep)
Well, at least you assumed rightAhhh right you are. Guess I just assumed!![]()

And in English that is???
New wave of British heavy metal
Thank you hun. I could have googled it but it was just quicker to ask. But then again, maiden have been about for 25 years (if not more)
Well, "Iron Maiden" is from 1980, so that's 30 years of records... (I feel so young compared)

Good music lasts forever... And can be enjoyed by everybody.Yeah, I always wondered how you had such good taste in music for a youngin'.![]()
So, you haven't been a Maiden fan from the start eitherBlimey, didn't realise it was that long ago, I was 7 then (I feel so old now!)

My pussy is wet...Correct, I think my delicate 7 year old ears wouldn't have appreciated it, but I grew into it / them at school. And even I'm not old enough to remember floyd at the start...
The good music comment is so true, probably the most sensible thing I'm going to read tonight!
My pussy is wet...
That's definitely something more fun to read
I was 12 when I got into Maiden
I hear your pussy comment and I raise you my cock is hard...
Thats younger that I was, I think I was about 15, my mates dad was into them and we used to listen after school when he wasn't there, at maximum volume (his poor hifi, and neighbours come to think of it!)
Good music lasts forever... And can be enjoyed by everybody.
My brother was 15 and had somehow gotten into it, he played Judas be my Guide for me and I fell in love with the band. It was the first proper band I got into.
