LOL, BANDIT & I took her daughter up to movie world & loved the weather up there with lots of sunshine & loverly warm days.
We had a great view of the beach at Surfers & hope to manage to resize some pics from up there soon.

We took BANDIT's daughter to the airport to head back home today & BANDIT is missing her, it's been 3 1/2 years since her daughter was last here for our wedding.

Now lots of us time to catch up on & rest too as it's been non stop for the last week.

Actually Sydney surprised me on Saturday with such a spring like day....and yes I was the one carrying a thick and heavy winter coat from George Street to Chinatown to Darling Harbour to the Rocks...muscles were screaming at the end....and the spicily spanked bottom of course Glad that Surfers put on it's warm weather for you both though.

Been so long since I have visited these pages...I do hope all are well and sinfully occupied. Just back from a wicked long weekend in Sydney, went to Hellfire and a Christmas in July Dungeon Party. Wild and wonderful....blissfully (and ouchily) so.

Now where is that Elfy one? How are you delicious? Hope the renovations are going or even better gone well. Up to the ears in same here, think you could turn up with your um brush in hand? Got some places you can stroke and add a few coats to with it........ Must try to get to Melbourne one day and see if I can tie you down for a coffee or arm wrestle....laughs.

Still the coat would of got used lat afternoon as it cools down rather quick. I wonder if your complaining more about the muscles than the spicily spanked bottom which I'm thinking saw a wicked grin on you face after the wincing when you sit down.

good morning aussies

checking in, and quick update before the next day of drama *sigh*

firstly, HE rang at 4-30 this morning from out at one of the islands off the NT..... said HE was standing by the phone just waiting till HE got the first bars of reception.
while i adore getting HIS calls during HIS on-swing, i must confess that 4-30 am saw me just a little cranky!
but then HE made up for it by telling me HE couldn't wait one second longer to tell me HE loves me.....

as for the errant girl-child...... today is psych assessment day.
yep, i'm pushing for a full assessment, given that she's been doing some extremely self-destructive behaviours.... and given that her dad has bipolar ll.... which could be genetic..... mix a genetic tendancy with teen hormones, alcohol and drugs.... well, i think you'll get the picture.
at least i know where she is at the moment (in a shelter) and at least we're talking again.
it's a start..... even if every second sentence is still 'fuck you, i don't need parents, i can look after myself'.
i feel a bit like a pincushion - emotionally this is quite hard.
but, my techniques for destressing are actually working..... so at least i can switch off during the 1 hr drive home from being with her.....

as for the eldest, no1son - he came thro his op with flying colours, and is well and trully on the mend now! all good - he'd been so very sick for a long time.
the immunosuppressants are working, and the steroids have made a huge difference now we just have to do 2 more iron infusions, and then we can sit back and wait a while before the next round of testing.
he has his appetite back (that's a HUGE improvement!), and is finally back at work after nearly 5 mth break.
i am sooooooooo relieved to see him with a little energy and vitality in his day

I remember when my two sons were tiny, friends were telling me about how girl babies were so much easier, easier to toilet-train, faster to mature, etc and so forth. My standard reply at the time was 'wait until they are 14 or so, and we'll talk again'
