I wish that our school did something with the butterfly knives or double tiger-hook swords that were hanging on the wall in our old school, but they were just a couple of traditional weapons hanging on the wall for decoration.

Butterfly knives in kung fu aren't the little knives that fold up. They are halfway between a dagger and a machete.

I just need to record a recap of everything and I'm done with my Who Am I? review, but I can't seem to put the words together to get it all done...

Kick the Sun! - Who Am I? video review is posted. I am very happy with the way this one turned out. It is 13 minutes shorter than the last one, with a faster pace, and a lot more fun to watch. I highly recommend that you do :D

God, Angelina Jolie is anorexic looking.

ETA: Why oh why did they pick her to be the lead in this thing?

At one point in my father's career, his office was decorated with a long rack of naval cutlasses that had been used at the Battle of Trafalgar. They all had nicks in the blades or other blemishes showing hard use.

After the battle they had been recovered and they had been racked to be used by the guards if his storehouse came under attack.

On the other wall was a stand of Brown Bess muskets. Beside them the guards' then current reserve armoury of .455 Webley revolvers and Lanchester sub-machine guns looked less lethal.

By my father's time the 32 and 64 pounder cannon on the towers guarding the gateway were ornamental. If the gate had been forced, the attackers would have been confronted a low wall topped by eight carronades loaded with grapeshot. Even in the 1950s, the carronades were still in place, unloaded, but guards were patrolling with loaded rifles - to defend a food (and rum) store.

I'm channeling my inner beast. :) Hi Og, I'm thinking of writing again, it's been awhile. Now I just have to find the time.

Butt I still have a saved AV. ;)

Don't just THINK about writing - do it.

The summer holidays contest isn't far away.
