Wow...US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are receiving Purple Hearts that were manufactured way back in 1945, before the US decided to bomb instead of invade. They made so many for the invasion that they still haven't run out.

I have a good friend who was drafted in 1945 at 18 and was sure he was going to die in the invasion of Japan. They were projecting huge numbers of casualities.

Yep, the number of Purple Hearts manufactured at the time was 500,000. As of a few years ago, there were over 100,000 left. Units in combat zones keep a few handy so they can pin on medals right there.
 
Seven years in college and not a single desire to buy a paper. Not even the 10,000 word term papers.

Six months under collar and the only thing keeping multiple counts of plagiarism at bay is the submissive desire to please... and knowing exactly what is on the list of punishments.

Yeah, my boobs are spectacular. But the guy was a total 100% stranger! If someone knows me really well, a good ogle is fun between friends, especially when it's done jokingly...it can be funny! But when a guy is mentally masturbating in front of you and you don't even know him....ew. :mad:

That was the original paper topic. Then there was a tantrum, and some rather inexcusable behavior on my part (that I'm still expecting a consequence for), and the explosion of the issue that bore the seed that grew into the original question to my Sir.

I've asked for permission to tweak the topic some to include feedback from others I know and the very enlightening and helpful recommendation to read the Delving the Psyche of Sadists thread over in talk (which I have like 6 pages to go).

So in short we went from "Is this a D/s thing or an us thing and why does it happen" to "I understand now why you'd rather have a good cut of beef over McDonald's and I'm totally cool with being pot roast, and this is how trust plays into all of it and the environment that is created via your even and my odd."

And yes, it is exactly that confusing in my head at the moment... But I'm good with that because I'm pot roast.

On a different note, is there any way to change the colors of Fetlife? The black background and white text is a pain for my eyes and certainly keeps me from joining any conversations.
