Ill answer the how am i for you Housebound. Fortunately I have you guys to help me see through the isolation period.

Yesterday was just one of those days where you wonder why you bother leaving your warm bed. Not in a depressing way lol just OMG i really need a whiskey (and i hate whiskey)

Difficult day emotionally and not made any better by an hour stint at A+E last night. I was out earlier in the day and stood up after being sat for a while...massive pain through my right ankle. Put it down to my foot seizing up or something despite not being able to put weight on my foot. 4 hours later it hadnt eased and i couldnt get to hospital today if still bad...spent last night at hospital.

Turns out I badly sprained tendons in my foot...i think. You'd think id know...but doc seemed more interested in trying to pick me up than actually looking at my foot. So it could be badly sprained or I could have snapped my tendon because when it first happened it felt like something had snapped.

The doc decided to ask me what i thought should be done..do i need xray? Well i said no because i thought xrays are for breaks/fractures which this wasnt. Turns out snapping your tendon is quite serious so xray is good idea to make sure you havent got it.

Soo at moment im bandaged and housebound due to pain. If it gets worse im ringing hospital.

Anyone wanna be my sexy male nurse? there are lots of positions i could do without putting weight on my foot

Today I am just studying. Exciting life i lead But someone has to get my assignments done and unfortunately that person is me. So Ill need lots of cheering up

Hey Beth. Sorry your ankle is giving you so much trouble. Unfortunately those kinds of injuries sometimes take a long time to heal. I'd be glad to come by and nurse you back to health. Someone in your condition needs to be taken care of. I'd say you need to keep those feet elevated and as far apart as possible, just in case what you have is contagious. I'd hate for it to spread to the other ankle.

Yeah i do believe it could be contagious so have been using it as dance practice..doing splits etc. LOL. I wish I could but the pain would be too much coz i hafta lean on the foot to get that kind of position.

Oh well I have been focussing on upper body work..doing weights whilst I watch tv
