I need his touch. The feel of his lips on mine, his tongue licking up my neck, his teeth grating against my nipples, his hands on my breast and sliding down holding my hips, guiding them as I rock with his cock inside me.

I need him.

Un-Schooling

I'm all for alternative parenting styles, but... Wow... Just wow.

And for the record, I love my children, but I don't like them enough to let them run around home doing whatever they please all day, every day...

"Are we going to brush teeth?!"

WTF?!

"Are we going to brush teeth?!"

WTF?!

Ok, granted, "Are you planning on brushing your teeth" has come out of my mouth but the entire statement was "Are you planning on brushing your teeth or are you going to use that time to figure out what your planning on telling Dr. XXXXXX when he wants to know why you have a mouth full of cavities?" And she was 11 at the time. And fully understood the consequences of *not* brushing. With the dentist's knowledge and understanding.

Now, the 5 year old... she doesn't get a choice. And "But I don't want to" typically gets "Sucks for you that I didn't ask if you wanted to. Go do it."

But yeah. And I'd not be letting kids that small rummage through the kitchen to pick whatever they wanted for breakfast, either.

A fitting end to an utter bitch of a 14-hour working day - at 10.30 pm, exhausted, grumpy, headachey, while parking (on the street instead of on my property - long story ) to go home and go to bed.... I reversed my car into a low wall I had no idea was there. My bumper is shagged, my hatchback door has a big dent and some missing paint, and I cricked my neck with the impact.

Thank you and goodnight :(

I thought I'm a master in yanking a chain.

:(

I must admit, I'm nothing compared to Mr. ~Smilie~.

I have to admire the way perfectly innocent words are mugged, ravished, stripped of all true meaning and decency and then sent to walk the gutter.

I'm just amazed at how willing people are to have their chain yanked.

Yeah, I have no idea why they're still engaging it. Bored, maybe?

I think so, yeah. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Until it began to take on the facade of an actual discussion. Although that's interesting in a certain Terminator-it-can't-be-bargained-with-it-can't-be-reasoned-with-it-doesn't-feel-pity-or-remorse-or-fear-and-it-absolutely-will-not-stop-ever-until-you-are-dead way.

My new theory is that he's the Lit version of Eliza! :D

Actually, I Un-Schooled mine for 10 years. :)

It wasn't "Radical Unschooling", but there were no "official" textbooks in the home, and the first time any of them took a standardized text was upon entering public school (5th grade, 3rd grade, 1st grade and kindergarten for the older ones; the youngest has always been in the public school system).

They all tested at 70-85th % at the beginning of their school years (as in already knew 70-85% of the material to be covered for that year), all choose books over computer games about 60% of the time, are all in AP classes (as 9th, 7th, 4th, 2nd and kindergartners), and have excellent research skills.

:)

I guess.

I think having a mom with a passion for books and knowledge probably helped a lot there.

I don't really have much of an opinion on the topic, as I don't have children of my own, so I can't really say how I think they should be taught. I will say that I used to work through my math books much further ahead of the rest of the class. I did algebra to de-stress/for fun when I was in middle school. And had I been left to my own device I would have spent most of my time either reading Shakespeare or doing some sort of arts and crafts project. And I feel being taught in public schools held me back significantly.
