We decided to buy a small trailer for camping, (hey, it gets cold and rainy around here), and L just found a 1959 travel trailer in mint condition!

I hope we get it, the photos look sooooo cute.

Do the trolls normally come out like this in the spring? Or are we just really lucky and sort of caught in the middle on their migratory pattern?

Fun party game...

The next time you're in a group of men and women, chatting, somewhere relatively quiet, say at a dinner party, ask everyone in the room to make their best gun sound effect. That is, what gunfire sounds like.

Why is this fun?

Because, most if not all of the women will make noises like, "pitchoo, pitchoo" or "bang, bang", while most if not all of the men will make noises that sound exactly like real gunfire...sometimes you can even pick out the caliber. ("chucka, chucka, chucka" is a 50 cal). Even guys who aren't super macho seem to have the gun noise gene, it's weird.

I've done this a few times, always with the same result: everyone ends up laughing.

Kitty and I went to McDonald's today and sat in front of this character who was talking to his friend. It was a political discussion that really seemed like nothing but the guy's own nutter theories. I have no idea where he was actually going with anything he was saying.

And then I heard him say, "It all started with McCarthyism."

I started laughing, and Kitty looked at me like I'd grown three heads. I told her that that was the second time this week I'd heard the word "McCarthyism" used, in spite of the fact that it's not a word that normally comes up in everyday conversation.

So I had to come back and tell everyone that we found your new troll in a McDonald's in East Alabama. ;)

Goofy-looking fuck, too.
