Actually, I don't like humidity either. I'll take a nice dry heat any day of the week. That and I have no one to be snowed in with, so it really sucks for me.

Heat has never really bothered me but this year, oh boy it has hit me like a ton of bricks.

We still have plans to move back to Qld where we will feel the heat more but thems the breaks they say.

Me neither I'm enjoying the cooler weather. The heat and humidity was making the hot flushes even worse - I like getting sweat soaked at the gym but not just sitting doing nothing!

Even a hot cup of coffee makes me break out - I'm tempted to start those pills but the doc said wait til I finished the others in the pack I've started first. A week to go.....

Sorry ICR but us Kiwis have "cheering for the other team playing the Aussies" bred into us Even 6 years here hasn't changed it!

My blood has thinned since I've been here too. A 15C day has me shivering in my winter woolies. I remember my brother meeting me in Christchurch when I went back when Dad was sick. It was 13C and he was in shorts and a t shirt. I was rugged up in everything I could find

Much like I look when I get down to the pits sometimes!

I hope so Gil ... I wouldn't have minded if it stopped for speedway but I really dont want the hot days we were having back.

It's not so much the heat as humidity thats destroying us even with the sea breeze we get a bit of.

Have to agree humidity is bad usualy i love summer but i hate it this year
make you feel bad when its hot its better just this humidity very bad


btw how is everyone this days i been very busy not realy going anywhere just busy with everyday life .. also trying to make myself pretty l been having a lot of doctors ap.. trying to remove some moles i have on my face i did one... going back soon for one more at the end of this month
cost a lot but its something always wanted to do hope will not stay big scars will be a little i know..
also started going to the gym 2 times aweek again only for 40 mins a time but trying to do some at home too .. my plans is to be fit a little around november and look better for my holidays.. started to eat more healthy.. having breakfast
and taking a lot of vitamins too... and fish oil anyway all this need a big rutine so taking a lot of time getting used too been about 2 weeks now hope i will keep it

Honestly, if I had to choose between heat all the time or what I have now, I'll take heat all the time in a heartbeat. As much as I dislike humidity, my hatred of cold and snow is that much greater. Ideally I'd live in like Vegas. Nice, dry desert. Last time I was there it was the week of Christmas (at the time one of my Aunt's was living there), and the average daily temp was like 70-80F. Where as back here on the East Coast there was snow. Needless to say, I enjoyed myself out there.

Great to hear you're going to the gym and doing things for YOU You should see the amount of pills I take of a morning now!:

Caltrate (calcium) 600mg
Glucosamine sulfate 1000mg
Fish Oil 1000mg
L-lysine to prevent cold sores 1000mg
Women's multivitamin 3x a week
Hormone tablet

I split them so I'm not taking them all at once though, usually half at breakfast and the rest at lunch.

that is a lot i just have fish oil pills only.. am on the second week i put this up 2 times a day and next week will be 3 pills

and just having every morning berocca vitamins

only have to cut some faty foods now

I used to wear shorts all year round except for the rare really cold day but these days I not only feel the cold so much more I suffer with aches & pains.

Had a snowstorm. We now have another 11.5 inches of snow.
